Echoing Void Nerf

Don’t you know? Tanks aren’t allowed to have fun! Only DPS can benefit from all the cool toys!

Sarcasm.

How can a tank use Echoing Void? Just curious… I mean it’s not that easy even for dps to avoid both big eye range and the thing from beyond during the combat. Especially when you race M+ and the tank is pulling as many as he/she can. The healer is already dying…
Anyway damage nerf is okay
But why is it still corruption level 60? If they nerfed the damage, isn’t it like corruption lvl must be reduced? Like… to 40 or 45?

Um, tanks already have a ton of self healing available. Having up to date essences and you can rival the hps of a healer on yourself.

I do know tanks do too much damage in PvP. Whatever the case, tanks should not be doing a lot of damage period. They should be good at threat, survivability, and disruption, but to make up for that their damage should be very low.

It’s funny that they nerfed EV but didn’t touch Twilight Devastation.

You sound like a child.
Furthermore, I’m willing to bet you’re upset because now you can’t time runs as a tank now, due to your poor ability to stay alive long enough.
DH tanks are easily the simplest to use/master, I know from experience. I have one of every tank class.
That being said, has whining ever gotten you your way?
Nobody cares what you think.
If you need to rely on a corruption effect to have “fun” tanking, just because you’re overpowered, and already one of the best DPS tank classes around, then you should rethink your spec.
The purpose of a tank isn’t to put out massive numbers, it’s to keep threat, handle mobs, and take the blunt of the damage while working mechanics.
You must have missed that memo.
Can’t wait to hear you cry when they nerf DH’s even more.
Same way most of them did when they nerfed DH leech post Legion in tank spec.
Those who actively enjoy the aspect of the class as a whole, and the spec, found a way to keep at it, rather than resorting to childish whine posts, and cry baby tactics.
You just sound like an insufferable twit really.

Ya against bad dps that struggle to do 35 to 40k at 460 ilvl. Not once was I able to come anywhere close to people that know how to play their spec. Dps climbing to 200k+ on trash pulls and ending dungeons with around 70k dps overall. No tank was beating those dps that know how to play. Not once did I hear a good dps complain about a tank doing more damage. It’s was always some dps doing sub 40k at 460+.

I loved being a healer when vengeance was a thing and seeing tanks do obscene damage with vengeance. That incentivized tanks to go as fast as possible, and runs became a hilarious test of “how high can you go”. I actually had to try in dungeons to keep my primary tank alive. It was beautiful.

It’s the end of the expansion, this should be the time everyone should be feeling powerful and having a blast, balance should be a secondary concern at this point of the expansion.

I guess it depends on ones definition of fun. I find the game enjoyable when I do well in challenging content, vs steamrolling via default dps from corruption.

Mythic+ scales up infinitely, so you can always find a challenge, nothing has changed in that regard.

Legion is that way -->

Echoing Void helps me tank through Horrific Visions. LITFA now.

All i know is, why did blizzard make the affix hp based if they didn’t want it to be hp based?

Because you freaking out dps and out tank and out perform 2 DPS of the same item level?
