Feel free to post your screenshots of Echoing Void doing 20% or greater of someone’s total damage who beat you in arena.
Bonus points if its a Guardian Druid who nuked you in a bear stun.
Double points if you got one of being double teamed by two dps / tanks with Echoing Void.
This is clearly the best Blizzard has to offer. Im sure they extensively playtested it and ran the numbers on how much dps this added to classes and how much this could spike burst windows in PvP. Chris Kaleiki and Ion Hazzakostis and special guest Brian Holinka are doing a bang up job. Has Chris been carried to Duelist by ABN this season yet, by the by? Just wondering asking for a friend.
I swear the devs make items/effects like this just to dev gift the items to themself on day one of the patch and go pad numbers in PvE before complaints force nerfs, with no regard to how horribly this impacts PvP. This is especially a problem now that Glad is at any time in the season, so if something is heavily broken it cheapens the title for the whole season.

Think they fired every pvp dev at this point. Or they reverted back to playing via a tablet. Makes sense for auto procs and having to click anything.

Ita depressing.
My ratings gains rely 100% on whether i Q into the top 3 corruption effects or not.
90% of my losses this season have been 20-30% of opponents dmg being some broken corruption.
i got echoing today at rank 3 and its honestly kinda crap as a ranged, it does do good single target, if there is only one target pets cut the damage massively and most of it is just pad if you are facing like a dk or demo lock the damage splits between targets, it comes out to being a ton of damage but honestly its mostly pad.
That being said if you get kidneyed and your not a pet class then you will take a insane ammount of damage. id say the tents that come out an channel though los and have 200k hp and tick for 20k a second are more troublesome than echoing.
??
What you are describing sounds more like infinite stars. Stars is far better on ST but Echoing void is amazing in AoE, the dmg doesnt split at all. Thr more targets the better.
Actually the 2.5% health damage splits between all targets hit, it doesnt say that, but thats how it works. inf stars is to rng and can proc on random things such as totems and pets, the stacking debuff is also dispelable, echoing void deals 2.5% of your hp per stack that it built up when it collapses, but it splits that damage between everything hit, so if you hit for 10k per stack an its 1 target the stacks hit for 10k but if there is 2 then the stacks hit for 5k. i have the corruption and ive tested it.
Chris Kaleiki is the current lead designer of World of Warcraft’s PvP. He’s a 1600 hardstuck player who got boosted by ABN to duelist, then bragged about it on his twitter.
Know thy enemy. Know the man responsible for the modern incarnation of PVP templates and azerite scaling in PvP. The man responsible for doing nothing to mitigate the corruption disaster in PvP.
We do have a PvP dev, he’s just objectively bad at the game and his job likely because he has no concept of what its like once you get to decent ratings. At his rating, which as I said is about 1600, you actually see some decent class variety and think the game might be kinda okay. He doesnt realize well over 4/5 Glad rated 3’s teams are Rogue Mage X, or if he does he’s too mathematically inept to realize with 13 classes this game should have very few rogues and mages in the glad rating, because spots should be getting soaked by everyone else. You know, the OTHER classes.
But this is a Echoing Void Appreciation Thread. Just asked a DH ex-glad who has Echoing Void on his belt to report his numbers. He said its 15% when training one target, 20+% when against double melee.
Great job, Echoing Void! 100% representation above 2k in the new PvP season!
