Easy Fix to the Sha Mount Dilemma

Remove the weekly lockout from the Panda world bosses, and make the bosses lockout-free. Make them infinitely farmable as many times a day as someone wants.

With this way, no drop chances are changed and people will still put in the same amount of time needed to earn their mounts, without having to worry about very lengthy weekly timegate that does nothing more than further increase waiting times between chances. Just remove the lockouts entirely and let the player figure out if they want to put in the effort for the mount.

Ok, so what happens to the evokers that abused the bug and got the mount?

I don’t care about cheaters. I care about earning things the way it’s intended.

Who cares. Just bump all world boss mounts up to at least 5% and call it good. No reason for them to stay so rare years and years later.

Nothing, obviously.

Give everyone else the same odds to get the mount. Problem solved.

Well, my theory is that if one gets it they just make another one.

I would say find a hobby but this appears to be their hobby. Maybe find a different hobby?

Smart, either remove the ones that got it through the bug or make the bug a feature now and let it be the new drop rate.

One of the rarest mounts in WoW vs one scalyboi

How about an even easier fix, remove the mounts from any evokers who got it during the known bug time and then we’re good.

We’re good when everybody forgets about this in a few days like with the feldrake thing. :dracthyr_heart:

No one is gonna forget about this lmao.

This, really. There is nothing special about the mounts. They take no real skill or effort to get, just luck, and they don’t do anything different from other mounts. They don’t work as status symbols or bragging rights or anything. They are purely just how lucky you are and how many weeks of killing them you can handle before just finally deciding it’s not worth it.

I’ve seen BLP mentioned on the CC forums but that is going to diminish effort.

Of course they will. They’ll lie and say that the mounts have been removed despite not removing them and everybody goes about their business, the world keeps spinning, etc.

Actually the more likely thing is that it gets ignored entirely.

Nope, as someone who has personal experience with this type of thing they will remove it if the past is any indication.

Yeah for, sure. Looking forward to seeing everybody I know who got one not having theirs stripped despite a bunch of people promising that blizz rolled the mounts back.

Did you jump to that conclusion just because of who is posting? Its not a terrible idea. So maybe the guy likes to post a lot, that does not automatically make that person a troll.

The mount would still be hard to get even if you sat there camping all day but its not a bad idea. I wonder if it would still be worth the trouble of getting the bonus roll.

On the contrary. The vast majority of people will forget about this in 1-2 weeks, probably less.
