So i’ve played a priest for a long time (not including my long break), and just healed. I’ve never really DPS’d except back in Vanilla I started with a hunter as my main. So my question is. What’s the easiest Melee Class & Ranged class to learn to DPS with in PVP? Also any suggestions how to get better at playing this class would be great.
Mage or war, just read pvp guides and watch videos. Nothing helps like just playing the game.

There is a difference between being the easiest class to play (mechanics) and the safest class to play. That is, what is easiest to play mechanically might be difficult to play in a BG due to lack of mobility, escape mechanics, getting trained, etc.
BM hunter is probably one of the easiest (mechanics) and safest specs to play for ranged. All melee (except for stealth) can be rough in BGs without good healers on your side. On exception might be fury warrior with leaper. It’s easy to play and relatively safe since six leaps pretty much gets away from everything.

there is not a lot of classes that do both ranged and melee in pvp. hunter, druid, and unholy dk. of the 3, hunter is easiest to start out on.
I’m sorry I meant 1 melee class, and 1 ranged class.
I currently have a 50 or 50+ of Shaman, druid, & hunter. I’m thinking of trying Balance druid or Survival Hunter.
Rogue ~ Cheapshot wait for trinket blind them, pop Kyrian Phial and restealth or use ShadowDance, return and Cheapshot again until dead…

Yes boomkin a good choice. Hybrids always a good idea because you can heal up. Boomkin has easy rotation, good burst, good cc. It’s also a good entry point into druid, if you wanted to branch out to other specs later. Only issue is doesn’t fit into as many comps as other classes for arena, but top pick for rbg.

play them all so you know how to kill them all.
i have the most fun on classes with a spell steal/copy/reflect AND some kind of offensive dispel/purge/soothe.
classes that just tunnel damage are boring and the 2 easiest are ret paly and mm hunter.

For the easiest mechanically? DH, Havoc or Veng. Probably followed by BM Hunter.
None of these are FoTM currently for RBGs, excluding Veng DH, though.
Ele Shaman is pretty easy.
Ret paladin for melee. Go immune with your burst CDs up and just kill whoever
For ranged probably fire mage or moonkin
You pressed combust or convoke and things die

Yeah, there is a difference between an easy spec and an overtuned spec…
But to me by far the easiest specs to play would be BM hunter, moonkin, DH, DK, Ret paladin, shadowpriest, destro lock.
