Yep blizzard need to adress the problem of dead realms. I’ve seen the population stats and the new servers ARE dead. I think Blizzard expected more people to transfer.
Should have joined Windfury instead.
That’s on you bro.
All your friends transferred and yet you haven’t seen a single person since you switched your character? Oh do you not like playing with your friends?
Bump! Heartseeker is actually pumping numbers out, sorry Earthfury isnt doing the same
So you are suggesting to him, that he can only play now when his friends are on? So that he is able to do dungeons? No, the server is dead. If you don’t have a group of 5 on all at the same level, good luck getting a 5 man together for content on this sever.
Are you suggesting to me, that you have “friends” that you never play with? What is the point in having friends if you don’t interact with them?
“Haven’t seen a single person” lol
It’s true. I can’t find the stats rn, but I remember seeing 500ish alliance players and even less on horde side.
Deviate Delight for ex, which has no queue and is low/medium, has around 10 000 on each factions.
It is problematic and I’m sure blizzard will do something about it.
People aren’t always on, you can’t be limited by your ‘friends’ playtime. Don’t be confused here. The issue is when he’s not with the group he can’t do much less of anything group wise.
Earthfury is building up in population slowly but surely. Most servers are low to medium pop weekdays; I just happen to be off today. And even at that, there were a bunch of other players on with me before the unscheduled downtime happened.
I hope Blizzard is actually implementing better anti-DDOS protection during this shutdown, instead of just bumping afk’ers off all the servers like I suspect they are.
What do you want them to do? Can’t force people to move when they knew the realm would be dead anyway. People are smart enough to know that drop off will happen and they have no reason to panic and move.
I’m certainly not confused on the issue here. Did you ever see me counter the complaint of the server being dead? Nope. I was simply calling him out on the lie that he hasn’t A SINGLE PERSON even with all of his friends that also transferred. I think your passion or aggression on the issue here has confused you into thinking I’m saying anything other that what I am.
Guys look at the server stats here : wowpop(.)appspot(.)com
It’s problematic, lol.
I think they should merge it with another server.
Well, obviously that was a stretch for him to say ‘A SINGLE PERSON’. And yes, passion is the correct term, because that Is what I have for this game. And i’ve seen what lack of people on a server does to the economy and community.
And yes, I think this is the solution. and it needs to happen SOON.
People cried about queues. Now they have servers they can relocate to if so desired.
Blizzard’s work here is done. Either stay in queues, or move to these new servers.
I left Skeram. I like Earthfury’s easygoing populace, and it’s steadily climbing. Lots of guilds are building up and recruiting.
The only thing that still needs doing on every server across the boards is that all unplayed level 1s need to be nuked, then Blizzard can announce it later. Too many players jumped onto new servers to hog names, then disappear. That’s not fair to those truly playing on those servers.
My friends and I did the move, and have spent the last few days crying about it - that it was the worst decision. especially now that skeram queues are no longer than 30mins.
Blizzard, please do something!!! transfers back - merge it with a medium server - something. The LFG channel is DEAD and I have not been able to run a single dungeon since joining.
Why are you asking blizzard to fix a descision you made. You made decision out of convenience. You made your bed. Now lie in it.
You missed layering already so there’s that.
Calm down - I am just making a post to keep up the awareness that something will have to be done for the dead servers.
Thats cool. Didn’t mean to come across that way. But, still too many were just complaining without thinking about potential ramifications.
