I just wanna make sure we are still serious that this instant ability with 12 sec CD can root for 5 sec without any DR… =/= 40% uptime.

It’s 100% broken and possibly bugged by not DRing itself.

Was a warrior but got tired of not playing the game without constant overwhelming dispel attention.
all good ele shamans will drop it every 12 seconds lol what kind of reasoning is that?
lets not forget that the earthbind slow is also applied so it takes 2 dispells
Ill deal with the slow, the unreal uptime and complete lack of break on damage gets real boring.
As if ele didnt need it handed them to them any easier.
I guess we just focusing on breaking everything and fixing nothing.
ehh what did you expect though, they pretty much aren’t going to do any tuning when it comes to pvp, they did nothing for tbc. The meta was solved on warmane. there’s a reason wotlk arena participation is in the toilet.
Yah all the “cool new abilities” make the game less fun. Vanilla is really the only good version of wow

Feels a lot like shadowlands, where all the skill has been drained out of the game by the devs. Fun soon to follow.
In terms of PvP (and pve for that matter) Vanilla is the worst version the game has ever seen. I find it funny that people actually believe that vanilla pvp was even the slightest bit good. One of the worst experiences in the game.

Every other version of wow is button mashing, and everyone has insane cds like immunity or random other bs.
I don’t think it’s fun that every class has self healing and absorption and multiple defensive and offensive cooldowns. Beauty is simplicity.
So much more nuance in vanilla. It’s a dance not a face roll. And it’s not less balanced than wotlk, and meme specs are actually good in pvp if played right

Meme specs are still meme specs. If you aren’t a warrior, mage, or a healer, you’re trash in PvP. Never has there been a more imbalanced version of the game. Vanilla pvp was obscenely bad.
That’s not true, I think all classes have a roll they play that is distinct, which makes the game more interesting compared to the homogeneous mess that is wotlk.
Plus I don’t like how basically every class has dispel resistance coupled with a million little stupid buffs, so you spend like 10 gcd to dispel the thing you want
I’m going to assume that you played a warrior or a shaman in Vanilla classic. Only that mindset would say that other classes having abilities is ‘nuanced’. Also…maybe stop spamming dispel if it annoys you? You can do other useful things instead of being a braindead spam purger. Being able to dispel others buffs was a bad mechanic to begin with.
