Each final boss will award a single Sidereal Essence

Are we really doing this? Could they be this bad?

They havent shared their plans yet. I’m not sure we can rely on whats currently available on PTR since they havent finished fleshing out the Titan Rune Beta on PTR yet.
Oh it was updated 30 minutes ago.

Yeah, seems like 1 sidereal per end boss. 15 heroics for a trinket seems a bit grindy, but at least its grindable on your own time.

The prices seem the same though. Although as soon i logged in the server was resetting, so maybe the prices weren’t updated yet?

Edit:
PTR is back up. Sidereal prices have changed
Most rings, necklaces, bracers, and capes are 15, Algalon’s are 19
Most boots, gloves, belts and trinkets are 19, Algalon’s are 24.
Most Chest, Legs, and Helms are 25, Algalon’s are 32.

Looks like all “one hand weapons” and off hands are 25
Main hand weapons and ranged hunter weapons are 38
Two hand weapons are 50
Thrown/Wands are 15

That’s less than 2 days for an exceptionally good item lol

This looks like everyone won’t get one and we will have to roll on the one that drops. This is incredibly stupid.

There’s no way they do that.

Unless it’s just worded every poorly, that’s what this says.

Well we aren’t competing. Loot isn’t a finite resource where if the ability clicking keyboard turner getting Dark Matter means less Dark Matters drop in the future.

Some people have been looking for a drop and either it hasn’t happened yet or there is a lot of competition in their group for it. Having a light at the end of the tunnel is nice.

I’ve killed Vezax every week since he released, and still don’t have my libram. It’s not frustrating for me because I know TOC will add it to the badge vendor. Took forever to get my Naxx shield upgraded. 10man hodir never dropped his shield, but I got it from 25m algalon. Waiting on that shield upgrade was annoying. The libram hasn’t been that big of a deal.

All loot is on loan. Buying an item from the vendor yoinks it out of the bags of whoever has had that item longest.

It was a bad idea to start with, I don’t know how people expected it to be good.
They want dungeon engagement like M+, this isn’t made for players this is for their numbers.

If they really wanted dungeons to drop those items they could have just made them drop.
If they wanted a currency to buy those they could have added them to a badge vendor.
If they wanted people to get those items they could simply have augmented the drop rare during the phase.

Or you know, don’t scale those items ups if you’re gonna do a wholesale after.

just poorly worded as per usual by them. It will be 1 per player not 1 per final boss.

If its not then quote me later on that and enjoy grinding

“mom says it’s my turn with the valnyr”

Which is exactly what they did?

If only you could do more than one dungeon a day, if only…

Which they didn’t do?
Simply dropping means dungeon boss dropping the hm loot, they don’t. They drop the currency.
Moreover a badge currency would mean being also able to do raids instead of dungeons, but no they really want you to do those dungeons.

If it’s one for the whole group, you would need an average of 5 a day for weeks to get anything assuming fair distribution.

They need to clarify either it’s per person or per group. One is fine, the other isn’t

I’m 99% sure its going to be per person. They tried making the H1 loot bag per group, and hotfixed it to be per person like 24 hours later. Plus when people did it last week before they disabled it, everyone in the party got 1 essence. We’ll find out soon enough though.

They did in essence do this. The badges are just not called badges.

So having HM gear drop in beta rune dungeons would be better than the currently in development system? Which still requires dungeons to be run on a higher difficulty?

It should be per person. I would be suprised if they make them like bop frozen orbs.

If the badges are not called badges then they are not badges. They are a dungeon only currency mostly, which doesn’t respect what badges are in wotlk.

If they are just gonna give that gear they might as well do it the proper way, yes.
The whole point is making you farm dungeons longer. Again this isn’t made for players.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck…
Its a limited currency that requires the player run the new difficulty dungeons (which should be harder than H+ but they’re only a few hours old on the PTR) which is effort. The same effort if not slightly more (obv pending further testing) as obtaining up to 4 conquest and can be used to purchase powerful gear. Kinda sounds like the badge vendors we have had since TBC, the ones that give gear obtainable through badges, sorry “dungeon currency.” You’re just unhappy with the execution but ignoring that this type of “dungeon currency” has been in the game in some aspect since at least TBC.

Which would be through effort put in to the game correct? I don’t see in anyway how this is a hand out system when they are not handed out for free and still require effort and teamwork to complete. There is still work needed to obtain the “dungeon currency” for the HM gear.

If only they had a system that increased dungeon longevity without the need for instituting horrid new features nobody needed? I don’t disagree that H+ is a clunky and overall bad addition but complaining about what essentially amounts to a badge vendor is silly when that gearing option has generally always existed.

Dungeons are joke that you scale them by 400% or not.

TBC also made raids drop badges.

Yes I’m unhappy with their decision.

We don’t need to add longevity to dungeons, 99% of people playing wrath do not play the game for dungeons.

H+ was already a mistake, H++ is a bigger one.

Moreover, they’re not even adding new affixes. This is a joke.
