I don’t know about you but I’ve played since classic launch and have paid blizzard at least 250 to play their game, on top of that I payed for a character boost so 320 a minimum. And now that I have a dead server blizzard want me to pay another 25 dollars a toon, when I have 4 that I would need to transfer. When I reached out to them about my problem, they said to post here to see if it has gets steam, and they might do something. I don’t know where they learned customer service from, but this seems completely backwards to me. This should not be your solution to my problem when I pay you to upkeep the game each month. This is an absolute joke that you guys have your hand out for more money when you’ve received a thousand or so me and my brothers who have no one left to group with on our server. No arena partners and no dungeon groups. And when I tell you my problem. You put your hand out…. Shame on you. You don’t deserve our business

Stop giving them transfer dollars and quit. As long as people are willing to pay for them to fix problems they created, nothing will change.

Yes this is what customer service does and sadly you’ll get comments basically saying to get over it. However customer service told you to post here.
You aren’t the first one who has come here trying to get help for their server and you weren’t wrong to make the thread.
it would be nice if Blizzard would do something to help you and the many others on the dying servers and dying sides of the servers out. They’ve pretty much ignored any cries for help from anyone here, on Reddit on Youtube etc and everywhere else this has been talked about. At this point your choice is pay to transfer, reroll or quit… and none of those choices are a great option, sorry. 
Voting by quitting if this is what you really want is perfectly fine. Maybe one day something will change.

I mean, that’s not very much, considering the cost of pretty much any other hobby.
But yeah, I understand your frustration. I suppose it’s good to have varying populations on different servers, so people can find those that match their preference, but less desirable to watch a server you’ve chosen change over time.
An alternative to paying could be just to reroll somewhere else, but if all your max level toons are on the same server, that doesn’t seem like something that matches your preferences.
I wonder if creating server clusters, like the have for WoW Classic (and I suppose for Retail) would be beneficial to most. I suspect some would disapprove.
Yeah it’s hard when it’s to 60 + guys and my 70 main, and I don’t have the time to refill, I get the hoppy thing but I play lots of games and if they care this little about their customers. Than quiting is the right thing
Nope. It’s clearly stated in the EULA that your $15 only entitles you to access to the servers.
15 bucks a month is a bit high for a dead server, wouldn’t you say?
Depends on what you want to do in the game. You do realize you have access to other servers that aren’t dead, right?

Long as people keep paying transfers, they’re going to happily ignore dead and dying servers, servers that are 100% faction.
They want more dying servers, more imbalance, for more transfer money.

Give allies 1 free transfer to Bene only. Give horde 1 free transfer to any non bene server.

This idea is so wrong. There have been times in the past the Blizzard proactively fixed things. Right now, they are mistreating people. Paying a transfer fee is simply giving Blizzard a pass.
No one should have to be paid to do the right thing. There was recently an article that showed up on the login screen essentially talking about doing the right thing in some social context. Well guess what, talk’s cheap. Does Blizzard actually care about doing the right thing? If they only act when something “gets steam”, perhaps they only care about treating people right when they have an audience. Disgusting.
