Blizzard has seemingly continued the 8.3 crazyness with specs that have incredible survivability while also being able to 1 shot most other specs in a single stun… the gameplay is just braindead and frustrating, and I hope Blizzard will seriously nerf the damage these specs are putting out right now.

How is arms killing you in 1 global wat
They do really go really high consistent pressure but theyre not gibbing you
Sub rogues are killing you with shadowblades
MM hunters are killing you with double tap (on global)+kyrian (on global) into aimed shot, then if those both crit they’ll kill you with two follow up arcane shots (if they have enough range they can all hit you at the same time). They’re obnoxious in bgs though of course but still pumping is mostly during those windows, try and use stops on them during those points and focus any MM hunter

im will dill on this one, a lot of the burst from every spec (even ret) is reactable. just use defensives, the game is fast paced as a mofo rn. it isnt like corrupted season.
changes will happen im sure, but i actually like how fast everything is.

Yeah MM hunters are the most annoying, they come out of stealth and do a minimum of 60% of ur hp in 1 global. It’s just because a lot of of people have low versa and once people have more you won’t get 1 shot like that anymore.

Nah I ran a skirm with an arms warrior the other day and he was one shotting people (not exaggerating the tiniest amount) with his night fae ability+avatar. Trust me there was no reacting to it. A literal cheat code.

The majority of warriors played Kyrian I assume for a very valid reason
Also have to take into account with skirms you’re very likely fighting really inexperienced players in comparison to you that are maybe undergeared or don’t even know what’s happening (even more likely because the game is just recently out for most people that didn’t play beta).
Trust me arms warrior is absolutely crazy, one of the best specs in the game, I just don’t think there’s people constantly getting “1 shot” by an arms warrior

Yea I wish I had clipped the games as we ended up running like 4 of them. I understand what you’re saying and god I hate kyrian spear but this might be what OP is talking about. I don’t know if the warrior that I played with was hard stacking a certain stat that synergizes with the night fae+avatar damage (he was really geared with m gear) but I’m not kidding at all when I say he was deleting people through walls over and over again. It was also even worse when the team stacked. He might have been exploting something blizz overlooked maybe? Idk. Once all these are tuned a bit I think there’s a very good season ahead though!
When I mean exploit I mean similar to something like rogues using dress which should be useless imo going into this xpac.
edit: just to clarify i’m in no way saying warrior damage needs to be nerfed as they’re the last spec/class that I’ve noticed issues with. In fact I think they’re in a really good spot for 3s/2s. I’m just pointing out that there might be some players here and there that are RIPPING through walls by stacking the night fae covenant in particular during an unbalanced period that seems to always be the case with a release of an xpac.
I just recently discovered what that ability does aside from crazy damage and frankly that move is nuts
Yeah I mean it’s possible but it probably just becomes something you just press a cd on and becomes useless, and maybe just spread apart or run away from it

Don’t forget fire we can kill you in like 2 globals. Maybe not 1 global strong but we are most def 2 global strong.
The only solution I’m seeing is to buff fire to 1 global strong.

yeah the warrior he opened on at the beginning totally had a reasonable chance to react, just needs to get good. lul. I know its the beginning of an expansion and we all have crap gear and low hp, but it looks like 0 effort was made to provide a semi balanced pvp experience.
