No. People asked for it. You dont like it means no one likes it.

But wait until people can actually start playing them.
Day 1: Several threads denying they should exist.
Day 2: Several threads angrily saying Blizz wasted resources on them.
Day 3: Several threads bargaining with Blizz to put the desired races in game or they’ll quit playing by speaking with their wallets.
Day 4: Several threads sadly bemoaning Blizz’s lack of caring about what the players want.
Day 5: Several threads asking people to show off those new beautiful Earthen.
Here is the thing though: How exactly does the player know what the player want, since there is players who want everything and there is players who doesn’t want anything?

Not saying I want ogres, just saying high elves aren’t the only thing that many people have asked for over the years.
Eh, I could be wrong but I think their racials are absurdly powerful. If that’s true then people will play them regardless, and Blizzard will later come along using those unrealistic numbers and say “See!? People actually liked them!”, when obviously that might not be the case.
It’s similar to the diaper gnomes and overweight humans back then. Blizzard invests resources in things that only a tiny minority will ever touch. It’s so absurd. Instead of focusing on things that players actually like and above all, which would make them money.
their racial abilities are actually terrible. probably even worse than vulpera and LFD
Yeah i went with the worst race to highlight how just because something was asked for, doesnt mean its something good.
Blizzard is doing what they want and thats not a bad thing.

Well, I would start with the hundreds of threads that have been made over the years or the threads that have thousands of posts. Never seen hundreds of threads or one thread with thousands of posts for a third dwarf race or beards for females dwarves.
I personally don’t care about beards for female dwarves or a third dwarf race but you really gotta bury your head in the sand all the way to your shoulders to think this was something the majority of people wanted.

Costs too much money; new skeletons, models, etc cost R&D and testing funds. To be fair, they’d probably have found out that all that money spent woulda been worth it… if their last new rig weren’t Kul’tirans which are second least played in front of Mechagnomes.

Majority ask for stuff like High Elves which are Blood Elves with a blue background and would be third version of something we already have two of, Ogres which a small amount of people would play and lack a female model, Sethrak which are like Dracthyr and you can’t really tell difference between female and male and so on.
I fail to see the issue with Earthen due to this.

Nah I’ve been here. You said nobody asked for them (which, obviously, was hyperbole but still) and then said someone would be blind to think the majority wants them, but I don’t see that anyone has made that claim so I’m not sure why.
Someone said they didn’t see the problem.
So I pointed out the problem.
Then the conversation went from there. Now, I’m not saying it’s my problem because I really don’t care about a third dwarf race however, that doesn’t mean I’m blind to what is making people mad.
I blame blizzard and not the race.
I love earthen. They just feel right to me.
Their blizzcon reveal was so bad i thought they were a waste of time.
They did such a bad job of highlighting their differences.
And the differences they were able to highlight (gems) they made it seem that they would get covered by armor.
Now that we have the race, i love them.
That blizzcon reveal did not do them justice.
