I did not ask for earthen, but I’ll be happy to make one when I can. The only race I ever highly desired Blizzard to add was high elves, but I know by now that won’t ever happen.

How many people do you think were asking for Draenei seeing as how they didn’t really exist before they were announced?

My problem with the upcoming dwarves isn’t a “I didn’t get what I want” problem, but more of a “why did they ever think these were a good idea” problem. I like when they come up with a playable race that’s not one that has been highly requested yet still satisfies a decent amount of players… but idk, I can’t see anyone being like “ah yes~ rock dwarves; what I always needed and just didn’t know”.

Even though I beat Warcraft 3, I never desired the Draenei we experienced in that game to be a playable race. I’m glad we get to play the awesome Draenei added in TBC, but they do look very different.
now they just need to add high elves and have them be shared between faction like the earthen are

The only good allied races we got were Z trolls and Vulpera imo. Rest were meh.

No we couldn’t have. Playable Kul Tirans took over a year and they were already mostly complete since NPCs were around.
Blizzard’s art team either has the time management skills of a teenager, or it consists of 1 guy and some interns.
If it needs a new skin: Months
If it requires altering an existing skeleton: Over a year
If it’s genuinely new: A couple expansions.
Nerubians would have been way cooler than Earthen. I’m definitely a little disappointed we didn’t get them as the Allied Race.
Far as I’m concerned, Dracthyr broke open the floodgates of less humanoid races. There’s no reason to complain about how Nerubians would be impossible when 90% of items aren’t even visible on a Dracthyr already.

Yeah people wanted these dwarves, already a guildy has made an entire warband of art and theme for them all. Pretty sure we will get the bipedal Nerubians so I’m excited for that as well.
