Are there any other races that get penalized for using their racial abilities? Just used stoneform to remove some dots and ended up taking 37k damage because an unstable affliction was dispelled. How is this fair? I don’t see orcs taking half their health when they pop their damage buff or trolls with their personal lust. I think this is extremely unfair to the dwarven players and it gives a class a big advantage over a race.

Honestly this is really annoying. Whenever I merc mode my orc shaman I just don’t use the racial. I did lazily macro it into astral shift but it became too dangerous because of UA, so I took it out and pretend I don’t have a racial.
Usually eating the UA isn’t a huge deal but as a resto shaman it’s annoying to be silenced. When running the flag, at high stacks a UA dispel can almost one shot me. Same thing with holding the orbs on temple (but as a healer I try to avoid doing that).
It was after killing myself to UA while running the flag in twin peaks that I decided I can’t be bothered. For sure doesn’t add incentive for me to merc mode.
It’s a dispel. Unable Affliction does damage when it’s dispelled.
Dwarf is much better than Troll.
well if you wanna play pvp you have to be orc that’s the law, sorry mate, I don’t maker the rules, Devs do

The problem is UA and not the Racial, the racial is great and Dwarves should take damage for dispelling UA. But the amount of damage UA does is questionable.
But like, in pvp the dwarf racial is one of the strongest, Dark iron Even more so since you also get a bunch of damage out of it. On top of that bleed builds are coming back in DF so Dwarves are about to become real popular picks.
