According to my sources, I did see the Dwarf Shaman in a snippet of SoD… I can’t verify this nor can I verify the Tauren Pals. But anything seems to be possible here.

No thank you. The Paladin vs. Shaman debate is a quintessential element of vanilla/classic, this would be too much faction homogenization IMO.

I also hate the concept of Tauren Paladin, and its massive lore retcon. Undead Paladin makes more sense, even with the pain of wielding the Light.

You’ve misinterpreted my view, I’m all for changes. #nochanges is done.
My comment is in reference to what the Devs said in the announcement and post interviews; they don’t want to make big class overhauls or major faction reworks in this Season. That puts Alliance shamans and Horde paladins firmly in the too much change camp. Maybe next Season.

UD paladins, cowadins were always weird. UD paladins seems no different than an UD priest and lorewise would make more sense imo.

Sadly instead of going that route they chose to give each faction access to the abilities using classes that wouldn’t have those abilities. Tauren Paladin and Dwarf Shaman would have been the right move and hopefully when Classic+ itself launches in the future they will go this route.
Tauren Paladins always sounded weird to me too but just so I understand the lore - the Tauren decided to worship the Sun to balance out the Night Elves’ worship of the Moon and then… they became Paladins?
I also hate the concept of Tauren Priests, because their skin is literally leather - why why are they resteicted to cloth?
