Dwarf Hunter using a Bow?

Would this be silly or is it plausible enough for a Dwarf to pick up a bow over a rifle?

…I mean it’s whatever you’d prefer? I’m just glad guns arnt as loud as they used to be, so im more likely to use one for Shiggs and giggles

Any dwarf hunter who transmogs to a bow or crossbow should have their character immediately deleted.

If you get dropped off on a deserted island with nothing in hand, the first thing you’re going to try to make is a… well, a knife first possibly out of stone or bone, but with that knife you’ll make a bow!

My Dwarf hunter uses a bow. Guns are loud; too likely to scare the game away. Bow is better for stealthy hunterness.

Scare the game away?

Not a problem if you manage to kill your game with the first shot. One shot, one kill. That’s the rule.

Well, sure, but what about all the other game out there? Kill one but all the others run away. There’s lots of critters out there.

Note: I have no real experience hunting; I have no idea what I’m talking about. Seemed plausible in my head. :sweat_smile: :laughing:

Guns are iconic for dwarves, but any hunter can pick up a bow.

Most of my mogs have a bow option, for those rare moments I switch to MM.** (Until I remember how much I hate MM, anyway). Most MM attacks make bow sounds so playing it with a gun just feels awkward.

**Have two-hander options for SV as well, until I remember how blasted confusing SV is and how much more fun Ret Pally or WW is if I’m gonna do melee. Still, style is important.

I absolutely hate the new gun sounds. These are archaic designed flintlock guns and when they’re fired they sound like a pop gun.

You can fix that. Download “Vanilla Gun Sounds” from Curse, extract it and drop it into your Sound folder. No more horrible stapler noises.

Well, I mean its even sillier now to have a bow without a quiver. But, I think the gun from the Ulduar Raid looks good on a Dwarf Hunter.

Don’t remind me, I’ve said it before but one of the greatest things Legion did was bring quivers back with Thas’dorah for Hunters.

It was meh. I mean the challenge bow and other bows look better than the artifact, but it is a start to something that may not happen in the future.

not since they nerfed the gun sounds to sound less like rifles and more like an air soft gun. I transmog that into bows and crossbows.

Not according to my artifact weapons. As a BM Hunter, I lost the ability to use a bow for 2 years.
