Dungeons not fun and its not even Blizzards Fault

Logical people are often told they are wrong by irrational people. It’s kind of a thing that is shown in history.

Do you think it only works in one direction?

So kinda like you telling Sosari he’s wrong. Yes, you are indeed being irrational in the face of overwhelming evidence.

What evidence?

The vast majority of people WANT to go fast. It’s only an extremely overly vocal minority who want to “take their time.”

Individual anecdote doesn’t mean much, but sheer numbers of anecdotes all pointing to the same thing does.

The myriad of actual dungeon runs in game.

Source quote please.

I still find it hilarious the one screaming for sources is also the one who tried to use who had the most “likes”, as statistical evidence.

All you have to do is think about it for a second. When 5 people who don’t know each other are randomly grouped, the only thing you can do is make some basic assumptions about what the group’s goals are, which are likely:

  1. Complete the dungeon
  2. Don’t waste each other’s time

When that’s all you have to go off of, the the logical conclusion you have to draw is to pull quickly and efficiently, if you don’t do this then you are effectively holding 4 other people hostage because you want to lollygag. You are being disrespectful to other’s time.

Doing dungeons quickly is PROPER play, anything else is trolling.

I find it hilarious you are incapable of the basic level of understanding to be able to note that was in direct response to your statement of my view point being a minority. Without any evidence. It was purely a retort stating something as unreliable as likes is more viable evidence then anything you can come up with.

Vast majority don’t want to spend 40 minutes in a 20 minute dungeon tbh

Of course not! Who would. Even OP doesn’t want to, he’s just being fussy.

This is how dungeons are run today thanks in part to M+. Personally I prefer fast to slow, but easing off on the gas just a bit would be better overall. You can clear a dungeon quickly and efficiently without running around like a lunatic.

It’s funny that high end m+ has to be very methodical and is therefore slower than the easier normals and heroics where players run around wildly trying to be fast.

Qualitative research uses anecdotes. It’s definitely more “statistical” than “likes”.

Your statement isn’t completely wrong but it does miss another factor.

  1. To complete the quests.

Speedrunning is problematic in that the speedrunners bypass the quest objective. Or are you insisting that proper play of a dungeon is to ignore the objective you are there for?

You are completely capable of asking at the start, “Can we do the quest?”

99% of the time people will say yes, or ask to share. Take agency over your own life.

i mean if u dont say anything about the quest and it’s not in the “hold W path” then you probably won’t get the quest done. If you don’t say anything how do you expect 4 people to even acknowledge the fact that you need the quest.

bro yall expect too much from leveling dungeons / m0s. these are 4 random people who have no idea who each other are. how are yall gonna be on the same page about anything

you legit spend like 12 minutes with 4 random people. it’s not that big of a deal. finish the content, and maybe speak up next dungeon OR the tank just didn’t want to and the 4 other people agreed and don’t care about 1 person’s quest. it happens.

Totally agree.

Most quests nowadays are just to kill the end boss.
