Nope not really, I don’t consider other peoples commentary as evidence of anything. Mostly due to how easy it is to simply create another account to voice yourself more. And it’s widely known that the majority don’t always speak.

Yes.
I stated its the only statisitcal evidence. Even if the like system can be manipulated it still provides a measure of evidence. Even if its faulty. It’s a more accurate evidence then commentary as it’s just numbers devoid of emotion and ability to misinterpret.
You seem to be really missing the part where I said it’s the only evidence we can collect.
More the fact that the casual crowd is catching up now, so you’re getting more tepid and cautious folks in LFD, vs Monday->Wednesday, when it was full throttle raiders going through.
The fast crowd has moved on to super rare and WM farming now.
So voiceless "likes’ are more accurate evidence than actual commentary? Are you serious? Just look through your own thread. There are legit more people telling you that you are the minority than those who agree with you. The amount of people telling you that DPS or Healers are telling tanks to go faster or that you should create your own group is telling.

I think that speedrunning becomes a problem when players [new to the dungeon] get left behind and lost, or trapped behind patrolling mobs that weren’t cleared, etc. In these speedruns, no one seems to care. They don’t go back for you or wait for you to catch up. If it wasn’t for the dots on the minimap, the new players wouldn’t know where the rest of the group went.
This is a new expansion, and there are many new people going into these dungeons for the first time, and that’s going to keep happening for a while.
I also think we need to stop exaggerating to defend a point. Just because someone doesn’t want to speedrun doesn’t mean that they want to run “at a snail’s pace”. Just stop leaving people behind.
Not really, a lot of folks don’t like to subject themselves to abusive language or insults. It’s why people stay silent. I feel like there is a good probability this is even more likely the case for people that like to take things slow.
Sounds like a lot of excuses so you can value voiceless “likes” more than actual anecdotes and explanations.
I hate speed running dungeons and it makes me actively avoid dungeons. I just do the quests in them and that’s it. Speed running instances was a novelty back in the day, it was fun to try once in awhile but now it seems to be the standard. This started happening around Legion because I never had this issue before that expansion.

Do you often meet logical thinking in a manner where you take on the offense. Or do you actually believe people in modern society are willing enough to put up with the verbal abuse this forum likes to dull out in order to speak their mind. Naturally you could be correct that my idea that the majority is silent in this case is not actually factual. As it’s really hard to know when people do not speak up. Thats kind of why it’s so important to have a forum that is open to civil conversation and not one where people go on the offensive when they disagree with anything.
Meanwhile in Mists, I’d be Retribution queueing as tank, soloing the dungeon by pulling all the trash unto the boss and blowing it up while locking out the other 4 dudes. Just for the quick and done daily Valor.
