Dungeon Tuning Incoming - October 1

With scheduled weekly maintenance in each region, we will make the following adjustments to dungeons in The War Within:

Dungeons

Grim Batol

  • Drahga Shadowburner
    • Improved the visibility of Twilight Wind.
    • Movement speed of the Twilight Wind reduced by 15%.
    • Movement speed reduction to players inside the area trigger reduced to 10%.
    • Fixed an issue that allowed players to be hit multiple times by a Twilight Wind.
  • Mutated Hatchling
    • Melee damage reduced by 66%.
    • Melee attacks can no longer critically strike.
  • Valiona
    • Health reduced by 13%.
  • Erudax
    • Abyssal Corruption now targets 2 players (was 3).
  • Twilight Lavabender
    • Scorching Heat’s damage reduced by 25%.

Siege of Boralus

  • Scrimshaw Gutter
    • No longer flees at low health.
  • Chopper Redhook
    • Players now gain a short immunity to Irontide Cleaver’s Heavy Slash after suffering from Iron Hook.
  • Irontide Raider and Ashvane Commander
  • Adjusted the timings of Iron Hook and Azerite Charge.

The Stonevault

  • Rocksmasher
    • Now casts Smash Rock less frequently.
  • Turned Speaker
    • Now casts Censoring Gear less frequently.

Zekvir isnt a dungeon boss. That’s delve tuning. Probably coming soon™.

Now can they do something about Toothbreaker being cast during Iron Hook?

Our tank got one-shot twice because they were hit in the back by it while being pulled through the air past the mob, not sure if that was just unlucky or what but seemed to happen consistently enough to be noticeable.

So you guys want to address Necrotic Wake or what? Stitchflesh is literally unacceptable and that’s not even including the 5 million things that the aboms hook magically gets stuck on and refusing to pull the boss.

Too little, too late as usual. M+ dungeons are so overtuned to the point it’s unplayable and all we got is a few lines of minor fixes? Really? Is that what we are paying for? Shame…

Thanks again for making this the expansion where we don’t feel like everyone gets oneshot all the time. Glad those tanks nerfs let healers not have to feel like they are playing whack-a-mole with yoyoing health bars.

My question is what about boss damage? what about wake the damage in there is still nuts kinda why i not gone on a tank.

Or reverting the CC Change as thats killing mythic+

But Stonevault still needs a nerf so does wake and so does Threads/Ara slightly on trash/some bosses.

Necrotic wake and ara kara are some of the easiest dungeons now.

Calling for nerfs to those is wild.

Just delete siege of boralus.

Look at Hadal Darkfathom boss of Siege, this week boss get unavoidable orbs secs after get full energy, in the oppsite side of the players.

A: players
B: boss
C: orbs
→ : direction looking
So you get this

XXXXXXXXXXXX
… …OOOOO
… …A B ← C
… … … |
. … … tank(frontal)

And Erudax, orbs spawning in the oppsite side form the players during Shadow Gale, making difficult to get them before it close.

Solution: make special timer for bosses

I am just getting prepped and ready for this. Glad it will happen after I am geared.
