Why did Blizzard feel the need to mess up the game with this for absolutely no reason?
Who asked for these? Who wanted these? They pulled them out of thin air solely to ruin the experience.

Mounts that once had meaning? Pointless

I use the boxes as an incentive, and heal more dungeons because of it. They’re doing exactly what they were made for.

You realize back in OG wrath this system did already exist, albeit as part of RDF. Tanks and healers got a bonus for queing up. And it’s not as though the mounts have a high drop chance or anything.
My server is littered with Ravenlords and White Stiders now lol
I could be wrong, its been a long time, but i thought the bonus satchel came after wrath not during it.

heroic dungeons are too easy and tanks are drying up because they don’t need pug dps that does less damage than them to come and need on everything. Seems like you can only get this box if you bring enough people to the dungeon. This box is saving dps from even longer wait times.
Honestly though, the only reasonably relevant thing you get from these boxes are Health and Mana pots… The rest ive pretty much discarded because its not something ill use long term.
ive gotten 2 Potions of Speed from all of the boxes i got levelling, which were a lot of boxes.

yeah I have been passing most of the junk potions and elixers to my alts, and I wouldnt have used consumes on them for questing otherwise
I have tanked hundreds of heroics and not seen a single mount, they don’t make the mounts pointless. I’ve gotten one pet that auctioned for 3 gold. Tank or heal if you want the boxes, but stop crying that they’re trying to incentivise groups building faster.

The leveling boxes can’t drop mounts or pets though, that’s what the OP is griping about.
Wild magic as well as any pot classes chug in raid, flasks arent money makers but everyone will never stop buying them so they will sell.
It came at the end when RDF queues were 45+ minutes for DPS, and everyone was complaining about it on the forums at that time.
If I remember correctly the loot boxes were added in cata. The devs even said when they announced the change that it was a cata change they were adding to wrath classic.
