Yeah the same elitist jerk crap has bled into tww season 1 dungeons. I had a healer try to let me die. He only did 15% of my heals, I mitigated the rest when I saw what was happening. Same heals let a new player on a feral die and refused to rez.
I reported it. If the social contract means anything instead of the jerks kicking new people the jerks would get a 3 day nap and the penalty volcano would eventually rid us of that sort of nonsense.
The heals whispered me after trying to criticize me for not being able to dps good enough and I should go play another game. That was the tipping point, I will report it every time I come across the jerks.
I did that dungeon when it was current, boralus, I just hadn’t been in there in awhile and was being cautious as my orbs will pull the entire room if I am not accurate.
To the folks defending this sort of behavior, all I can say is just shut up and play the game quit trying to bring your personality disorders into our fun place.

I am not going to sit here and debate fact with you. If you keep getting removed from groups that tire of you… maybe come back here and say to yourself “that nerd might have had a point”

My wife was kicked for not knowing a fight, it really bothered her and she started doing rated pvp instead. I have no idea how she’s as good as she is at pvp…and convinced it’s easier than a heroic dungeon
Everyone forgets what it was like when queue for dungeons first was implemented and there was no deserter debuff.
It was awful
The 30 minute timer is helpful. Plus side, helps players chill out before trying again.
If anything, do a delve as a tank to learn your rotation that way you are surviving your dungeon pulls instead of not. I would also check your gearing too.

It’s just sad 20 years into this game the same old behaviors emerge. If I was a healer on a laggy connection that was letting you eat damage, I’d at least group chat apologize. In my circumstance, I loaded in whatever mid fight they were having, blew all my heals to keep low HP dps alive and got kicked when I died because aggro switched to me and I got obliterated. Everyone else lived through that pull though.
Like what is the thought process?
-Edit, I should also note I tank too, and if I’m failing at aggro I expect to be kicked, not the healer.
But it doesn’t matter if someone leaves. You get a replacement in a few seconds and if you’re really in a hurry you can just keep going without someone, even if it’s the tank.
i still think they need to start it off with 15.
30 is a bit much
First there was complaints about not knowing mechanics about the dungeons.
How do you first learn the dungeon without doing the dungeon. And people QQ for days on end about this.
So Blizzard in their generosity added the dungeon journal.
And in their great wisdom, the WoW community as a whole ignored the feature and continued to QQ on the forums about not knowing things.
Why read words when you can just go out and do the things the words tell you about??

On the plus side I often randomly vote kick people every day now just to see if it passes and when it does all those people get a nice debuff as a result of that change, maybe if myself and others do this enough blizzard will realize how terrible that change was and revert it.
