Edit: Oh, never mind. It’s basically a different version of the addon that parses chat but with a more ‘mordern-ish’ UI.

Got’cha. Yeah, I noticed the note at the bottom of the information pane which basically says it simply parses the chat-log.
Except that it doesn’t stop with a UI, the next complaint is the que takes too long and it needs to become cross server. The point of an online RPG like this is to be social, and there’s retail wow finder systems that do it all for you actually kill off the limited social components of this game for the new and solo players.
The more of the social that is made to be no longer needed the fewer players will be social in game because the path of least resistance no longer requires anti social players from actually participating in the entire point of an online game.
I’ll say this another way, this is not a solo players game, you will need to participate in the construction of your own missions, and progress of those things. Getting there is part of the adventure.
These are only a few reasons why even with all its flaws classic wow is so much better than other online games. Look at all the wow killer’s out there, none of those are even close to this popular.

Here’s my response:
It didn’t come across as a joke, and your subsequent posts reinforced that. I’m not saying this to attack you, only to describe how I interpreted your words and posts. This isn’t the first time miscommunication in a text based form of discourse has had this result; however, we can absolutely both make an effort to turn the situation around now that we are hopefully on the same page, yes?
As of yet, I have not assigned any value to what you have given me, therefore no thanks are generally warranted. I absolutely will give this addon a try; however, thanks should be reserved until I’ve determined if it actually helps me.
Full disclosure, it’s my intent to finish my AV rep grind, so that will take priority for my WoW time this weekend. Initial impressions for Puggle suggest that it works exactly the same way as ClassicLFG, by scraping the chat channels for text matching certain patterns and then reformatting those into something a little easier to keep track of. That said, it does seem to work a lot better. Earlier in our discussion, I popped up ClassicLFG to see if I could find any groups with it… there was two and that’s it. Upon testing Puggle, it discovered far more groups immediately.
It’s not presented in the best way, according to my own preferences, but it absolutely is better at discovering groups than ClassicLFG. Content is worth more than presentation, so that right there is a plus. For the reasons I said above, I do think that Classic needs retail’s version of LFG, but perhaps Puggle can serve as an alternative far better than ClassicLFG was.
As I said, I will give this more time, likely next week.
