You want to return to a casual focused game to feel more hard core? You don’t even make sense. Go play Runescape or EverQuest or Ultima or Silk Road if you want that type of game. The first three versions of WoW were never hard core and it was the shift towards that mind set that actually trigged the downfall of the game.
Classic wow’s existance was suppose to be so that people could relive the expansions the way they were, as a sort of museum piece, and also so that blizzard could shut down private servers. Which were arguing blizzard didn’t provide the service they did (Old expansion content) thus blizzard couldn’t shut them down for copyright reasons.
RDF was part of wrath’s existence, literally half of it, as per developers it would have been out sooner if it was ready.
It’s not outlandish that people who want to experience wrath as it was in it’s prime, would also want all the features intact. 
OG Vanilla was created to be a more casual friend Everquest, and WoW has always been a casual MMO, anytime they tried to ramp up difficulties to make it not a casual MMO they’ve lost massive amounts of their playerbase.

The thing we take objection to is the fact blizzard is currently saying they are completely ripping it out of the game entirely and it’s not coming.
That’s where people are upset.
If it came in the ICC patch, to mirror what it was in the live servers back in the day, then outside of a handful of people that want it immediately, no one would really complain, because then it’d be authentic to what Wrath was.
But that’s not what’s happening.
You do realize RDF was in the last patch of wrath right?..

It was in the ICC patch of wrath, the 2nd to last major content update, and was part of wrath for half of it’s duration, due to there being a content drought at the end of the expansion, despite that, with it’s inclusion somehow wrath continued to hold steady it’s 12 million subscribers.
It’s almost like RDF added something to the game that kept people interested in going, despite there not being a massive content patch. 
So, no. It was not added in the last patch of Wrath. Please stop stating this false information.

Loud people complaining doesn’t mean that it’s an “overwhelming majority”. You’re only counting the voices you hear. I’m not saying you’re necessarily wrong, but you are spouting off about “undeniable facts” with no way to legitimately prove that they are actually true. It just seems that way to you because you’re only listening to people crying on forums which is a relatively small sample size compared to the people actually playing the game. So you can’t make this claim and you certainly can’t use it as factual evidence to prove your point.
You cannot prove this. Furthermore, you aren’t even reading what this person is saying. They never even argued a side. They simply said your facts are not actually facts which they aren’t.
You can’t prove this either. It’s anecdotal evidence at best. Additionally, you do not have legitimate physical evidence to prove anything you’re saying true. You have a few people crying on forums… some random and unknown poll with an unknown audience… these are not actual pieces of evidence and you are certainly not presenting any of it.

Retail players never use the Automated Random Heroic finder because, unlike in WOTLK, heroics are not an end-game 5 man dungeon - They’re stuck with the Mythic+ Gatekeeping Finder.
We must stop Classic from becoming Retail by making sure Blizzard doesn’t add Retail’s Mythic+ GateKeeping Finder to WOTLK, as is currently the case on Beta.
