Dungeon finder will give 1% of max xp upon completion

Previously people also level without RDF from 1 to 80.

Then when RDF hit, 15-70 became a lot faster because RDF gives a LOT of exp, but not really.

With release of Wrath, they reduced the exp requirement from 1-70, so it feels like you get a lot of exp from random dungeon finder.

The truth is, the exp you get relatively the same as lvl 70-80, there’s just less exp needed to level up at 15-70.

The moment you hit 70, the exp requirement to level up became substainly higher, but random dungeon exp stays relatively the same.

Questing has -always- been faster than dungeon grinding. Even with a pre-made group and “pumping”. A good quester with an addon will win every time. But dungeon grinding is a lot easier and less stress, less moving from random objective to random objective. Its a trade off.

Dungeon grinding doesn’t need to be worth any more experience than it is currently. If you want to go faster, go pump quests. If you prefer slow and steady, RDF it up. But no one should be saying things like “they should give comparable experience.” There’s always a tradeoff.

You used a lot of words to say that dungeon grinds are more boring than questing.

Boring isn’t the right word; some people prefer it. At the end of the day the most important thing I said is its less exp and is for a reason.
