It seems like over kill to put a 30-minute debuff on players who get kicked from a group they never even were given a chance in. It’s not uncommon for players to boot someone because they see their gear isn’t great or they messed up slightly very early in the dungeon. If players can be kicked so easily from a heroic dungeon the punishment shouldn’t be so severe. When I get on wow to play, I’m already limited with the time I have and now I just lost my chance to do a heroic because someone thought I had a bad pull 30 seconds into the dungeon. By the time the debuff drops I usually won’t even have time for the heroic anymore so I got to play for 30 seconds and that’s not an experience I will continue to put up with. If I can’t do the content I’m here for and grind for their rewards, then there’s no reason or me to play the game.
The debuff itself has been part of the system almost since the Vote to Kick system was introduced. It became an unfortunate necessity as certain players would urge the group, by request or by being a nuisance, to vote them out in order to avoid receiving a deserter debuff.
However, I’m afraid Customer Support has no involvement in the development of the game or the related systems, Pompom. If you have feedback for our Game Developers it is best to submit it through the in-game Submit a Suggestion option found in the main menu in-game under the Support option, or by posting in one of the related Community Forums. Dungeons, Raids & Scenarios would be best in this case.
