Dumb question about prepatch

Hi, I have what is probably a dumb question. https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/news/23850853/updated-oct-12-things-to-do-in-the-shadowlands-when-youre-mostly-dead

This link is showing that the Mythic+ mount is still available in prepatch and was updated a very short time ago. It also shows that the Gladiator mount is available in the prepatch.

Is this accurate? Or was that an oversight? I ask because of how recently this article was updated, the gladiator mount was left on the first tab (things going away with launch) but with prepatch rank1 for m+ and PvP closing as normal.

It seems like it would be weird for you to still be able to grind out titles even after the ladder is closed. That being said, I’m not complaining as it feels like season 4 has been kind of tough for participation and it feels like a lot of people are having a rough time of it so letting the season go on in a chaotic way with the new talent trees would be kind of funny and leaving rewards up for that would be even funnier I think if I’m being honest.

I don’t personally see the harm if you close the rank1 pool before doing so if that’s the case, either, because I think that leaving that portion open would be unfair to people who did their time or whatever.

Do you think we should still be able to get rewards in the prepatch?

Edit: The article has been updated and it is now clear that you (as usual and as expected) won’t be able to get any of the achieves in prepatch. Thanks for clarifying and GL to anyone pushing this/next week

The season is gonna end before prepatch so it’s probably an oversight

I hiiiighly doubt you can get either mount once it releases

No. Prepatches should never give seasonal rewards. Classes are typically grossly OP and not tuned for that current character level.

This. The M+ and PvP seasons end on their own and aren’t specifically tied to pre-patch which is why they aren’t mentioned.

Yeah typically I would agree but it seems they went out of their way to specify about M+ and leave them both in there. I just ask because it changes from if I need to play a lot these next two weeks or not and I’d imagine that’s the case for a lot of people.

That being said I think that yeah there is a lot more player power and a lot less like capability for an organized or balanced game.
