There’s no having a rational or mature conversation with someone like that. It’s just one insult after the next, watching him devolve while the rest of us are perfectly fine.
Like watching a train wreck. You just can’t look away.

Ayup, why I like to watch Hockey every now and then.
I have to wonder if that Blue’s wording means anything. “future events”, as in will other Holiday events allow collecting more color variations.
nods good question
I wondered this for a bit, but it’s a EGG. kinda seems like pure Noblegarden
At the very least make it accountwide once ‘completed’.
Foolishly, I keep thinking Blizzard will learn from the mistakes of past events and make customers happier…
Each new event brings disappointment as the same issues occur again and again.
It’s way less of an issue than other stuff Blizz has done and continues to do. Not saying it couldn’t be better, but I’d let this one slide.
6 years? Is that Evergreen content that people want?
they are making their customers the shareholders very happy.
This thread was a lot. All over ducks.
I am both excited and terrified of changes made to holiday events.
On one hand, there are some cool pets or mounts added and that’s hype.
On the other hand, some of these have such terrible drop rates, it makes me sad. To make it even worse, the pets (and mounts) are not sellable on the AH or tradable so unless you loot it, it might as well not exist.
I am ok with low drop chances if they add another way to obtain these things or they let them be tradable/sellable on the AH so at least you have a shot at getting them.
I am right there with you Phoenix.
Give us these drops but also allow us to put in work to buy them if we want. Put the mount on a vendor for 500 or 1000 chocolates. If people want to gather 1000 chocolates in a week, then let them. If they get lucky with a drop, then they can do other things in the game.
Oh my god you can only be one color duck
Oh wait I don’t care because it effects literally .001% of anybody’s gameplay experience.
Then why did you post in here?
The duck is serious business, didn’t you know?
It’s a toy that people will use for a day and then forget exists… the only thing people are focusing on is that they can’t collect all of the variants. They’re complaining because they feel left out or because of FOMO, take your pick.
It’s a mediocre object given more attention and focus because of peoples exaggerated focus on one negative aspect about it.
Is this a bad decision by Blizzard? Yeah, probably. It feels more like an oversight or bug than anything… but peoples reactions are equally terrible.
For me it’s not so much about the toy itself. It’s the design choice that has left me dazed and confused, especially for something as small as this.
This will be just like the Hayabusa armour from Halo. I earned it all, took a long to, and the sword was most difficult to get…but then not too long later, they made it to where you can now just buy the entire thing with zero grind. Same will likely happen for this.
there you go, you figured it out. it is so small, and such a non issue that they literally didn’t think twice about it knowing that it wouldn’t matter to any rational human being.
