I’m enjoying the heck out of SoD, that’s for sure!

Classic client is just that, the name of the client. This is a different version of the game. This is not a hard concept to grasp. There were not mage healers or warlock tanks in classic nor were there runes, Ashenvale PvP event, staggered level caps or BFD raids. Even more changes are coming with the next phase as well, so you better get into the correct mindset of what game you are playing.

if they wanted SoD to be drastically different from classic, putting it on the classic client sure was a dumb decision :expressionless:

Why are you obsessed with the client’s name? You think runes, new factions, new raids, new quests, new items, phases, events, and the warlock/rogue/shaman tanks and mage healers are not already drastically different? Like seriously.

adding stuff like runes and raids is different to changing the fundamentals of the classic client :expressionless: (which dual spec would be) i guess you need some technical expertise to appreciate this.

dual spec proponents always cover their ears and hum whenever someone disagrees with them :expressionless: i expected as such.

So um, you already realize that the classic client supports dual spec? You may have heard of a little thing called WotLK classic which has it in it right now. Also I love how you think that adding level locked phases and runes is a smaller change then dual spec. You just need to stop, because this is getting sad.

Edit: Also Blizzard did everything except flat out say it was coming to SoD at Blizzcon.

wrath uses a different client, sweetie :expressionless: you are embarrassing yourself at this point.

no, they did not. but feel free to cope.

You are allowed to have bad opinions

Do :expressionless: you :expressionless: get :expressionless: tired :expressionless: of :expressionless: being :expressionless: wrong :expressionless: ?

“Also that is not all, maybe, just maybe you will not be contained to just one talent spec in season of discovery.”

Still trying to claim adding new abilities, factions, events, and level caps is less of a change then dual spec. :clown_face:town.

Edit: :expressionless::expressionless::expressionless::expressionless::expressionless::expressionless::expressionless::expressionless::expressionless::expressionless::expressionless:

Right or wrong, it’s not trolling. It’s an opinion.

Because Era and Hardcore are on the same client. Some changes have already bled over from SoM previously. They prefer Era to stay Era, for those who like it.
I’ve got nothing against the feature, and hope you can get it without having it affect the other modes.

Why do you think adding SoD features would have any impact on Era or Hardcore? Nothing they have added to SoD impact either.

I have seen people say changes bled over from SoM. Why mention this if it hasn’t happened with SoD?

because they’re on the same client… do you not have any reading comprehension? :expressionless:

I have seen people say that ancient astronauts built the pyramids.

So then everything else they added changed era and hardcore? :clown_face:town.

I don’t know that it hasn’t yet, I’ve not been playing there. The runes should have no effect on Era since they don’t exist there. Changing the basic game may though.
