But in today’s climate, folks won’t be farming the gold for it since gold-buying has become so rampant.
Yes i do.
Because playing the game makes you gold. More than enough to buy epic flying, cover raid consumes, enchants and get your crafted gear with more than enough to respec a couple of times a week.
So many of those things are one off or only happen rarely. After that it’s all profit.
So you find it easier to reconcile with aspects that were never in the original game but harder to for aspects that were eventually added anyway?
You can’t roll all changes in to the same bunk as being the same thing.
Each particular change has it’s own ripple effect through out the game that effects different aspects of the game.
The one’s I’m OK with are because I can bring myself to a mental point where I think “Yeah OK, this could be fine/helpful for the game”. It doesn’t mean I’m being inconsistent, I’m just accepting that I have no choice in the matter, and reconciling with it.
No it’s a good change for lazy people the downsides which you pro-dual speccers always downplay tend to fall by the wayside when making your cases.
Because he can do nothing about them. It’s either reconcile or quit.
Right, but that’s just a you thing.
See what I did there?
Not really, I mean if people played the game then this wouldnt be a problem for anyone.
Or maybe he just doesn’t stand on principle and all the problems he thinks are inherent in changes are all in his head.
Sorry, just trying to make your quote a bit more consistent with everything else you’re saying.
The only downside is hardcore raiders forcing members to have two raid specs. It’s unfortunate those members have no spine and meekly submit when their guild demands it of them. But I suppose even spineless cowards should be taken care of. That’s why dozens of times on these threads those supporting dual spec have suggested it could only be changed in a major city and be on a cooldown
I still haven’t seen a good counter argument to this plain and simple fact:
It’s easy to make the gold to respec, even on a daily basis, so why is altering the expansion to your convenience necessary?
(And as we’ve clarified over and over, you can’t answer this with “because it will fix the tank shortage!”)
Which shows you don’t understand the downsides at all.
Cute. But I don’t think I ever mention how people are supposed to play, just that they’re supposed to play the game.
I made about 400g yesterday in about 2.5 hours, All just playing the game. If that sort of gold is around take advantage of it.
It’s not easy to make gold to respec.
What if I want to play TBC? There’s more to the game then just dual spec.
Sounds like a ‘you’ problem…
It is if you want the easy way out.
Your entire “argument” is “I don’t like it.”
Its pretty easy to make gold. You might wanna say its too time consuming for you make enough gold to respec. Something I also think is false, but very hard for anyone to prove.
No his argument is it’s not needed because ample gold can be made to pay for respeccing.
Hell, healers don’t even need a dps set to farm anymore.
No it’s not lol.
I honestly weep, that we can trade words this excessively, and you still completely not get what I’m trying to say to you.
I think it hurts the integrity of the experience, to make it short.
I also believe it’s cheap as hell and complaining about it just displays you as a lazy player…
