Dual spec please

It could be due to the lack of developers’ time in 2008.

Except we have hard facts showing it was an active decision to not have dual spec back then, it wasn’t a lack of developers time.

It’s a fact they CHOSE to not add it in tbc as a design intentions. They gave a clear NO for tbc dual spec.

It went against the intentions of the design of tbc. You can’t have a faithful recreation of a game (which is what tbcc is advertised as) if you go directly against known design intentions of the origional game. Which wotlk version dual spec does.

Dual spec could be modified to better fit the design intentions of tbc, but we know for a fact wotlk dua l spec goes directly against the intentional design that tbc had.

Design decisions that changed during TBC. The decision to add dual spec was made during TBC based on what was happening in TBC. That it didn’t get implemented till wrath doesn’t mean it wasn’t decided on during TBC.

You can make the argument that coming out of vanilla dual spec didn’t seem necessary. But with all the changes in TBC that decision clearly changed. You have arena’s and pvp becoming more prominent, hybrid specs besides healing became much more viable, in general there were a lot of things in TBC that cried for dual spec that weren’t the case in vanilla but became painfully obvious in TBC.
