If I want to go farm leather I don’t feel like begging a DPS bro to come along. There’s a reason Blizz buffed Healer damage in later x-pacs. Why should they be the only ones gimped for solo PVE content?
Dual spec was a godsend for Healers because they could actually do things solo efficiently like the other roles.
That would be true of we couldn’t respec. Except we can and the only barrier is Gold which brings up the problem of Gold buying.
If you don’t like the boost and store bought mounts BC isn’t the game for you. You really should quit. There have been many major changes to the game. If you don’t like them quitting is your only option
Entering BC and expecting there will be no changes is ridiculous. You were told there would be some changes. The devs announced that they were considering some changes to BC and asked for feedback from the players about what changes they want. I don’t see that as a ridiculous request from the blizzard devs working on BC. And quite frankly I care much more about what the blizzard devs say than what you say.
Now thats fine i really dont care if Alliance got it, but these purists freaking out about #nochanges have an impossible argument to make. Same with dual spec and Merc mode
both of them would be good for the game with no downside whatsoever
Then i’ll eagerly await you fighting the good fight to have SoB removed from Alliance paladins otherwise your hypocrisy ever tolls on, because one you allow some changes then everything is on the table and the whole’ consquences’ thing was rendered moot long ago.
There is no single good reason not to have Dual spec in the game
Dual spec is what you want, let’s add everything that everyone wants and we have retail with less content so you might as well just go play retail now instead of waiting around in a game that doesn’t have what you want:)
I think it’s important to keep in mind that people are playing this version of the game BECAUSE, not in spite, of the features (Dual-Spec, LFG/LFR) available in later versions of the game, including Retail.
I can only speak for myself. But my primary reason for playing this game is for the features it doesn’t have, vs. what Retail does have.
So if you’d like features that Retail has, great, feel free to play to that.
But I’d ask you to consider that for legacy players like myself, its the lack of features that makes this so enjoyable. Which is why I’m here. And why I’m enjoying it.
One person’s win is another’s loss, sometimes. And in this case (Dual Spec) you already have this available in Retail. I don’t have the original talent trees. Or character models. Or quests. Or gear. That is ONLY here.
I’d at least like to have that since I can’t access them any longer in Retail.
Nothing he enjoys about the game changes if othwr people have flexibility and options
But it seems he would like people to play his ideal version of the game with #nochanges, when he gets on a bandwagon to remove SoB ill take him seriously.
You can’t throw random features into a game like that.
It takes significant amount of effort to integrate a feature like dual spec.
No, it’s not already finished because it was in Wrath.
This is false. Look at retail.
If nothing about the game enjoyment changed due to other people having flexibility and options, classic Vanilla and TBC would not exist, because no one would have needed or wanted them.
I thought it was the paid boost and the store bought mount. Clearly if you’re playing this game you like the boost and the store bought mount. The people who didn’t like those changes already quit.
