is it so easy to make a mistake? does it ever become more than a 1 minute job? if so, maybe look into using an addon, I heard the make the process much easier.
Seems we agree
Or you just don’t play the way I do and don’t understand that fun is a subjective concept and every one doesn’t play the same way you do.
See it’s funny to me, because I’m using your same sentence back at you, and it fits just fine.
I’ve just checked the game requirements. Scheduling isn’t listed.
(this is a lie actually, i didn’t look)
RIGOR! I disagree with you. Come at me.
I doubt blizz as a company read most of what shows up on the forums, though a 6k thread might actually get some attention.
Most of the addons I used in original aren’t available for classic and the one’s I use now are buggy. Classic just doesn’t have enough players for programmers to keep them properly updated. I use only the addons I absolutely need.
It seems to, to you. The difference is I’m not constantly making suggestions as to how you can play the game differently. I understand that you have a different idea of fun and I don’t care to try to get you to play more like I play. You just think I can play more like you and have fun in the way you do. All your suggestions don’t make any sense to me and my style of play. It obvious you can’t conceive of the possibility that someone might have a different idea of what is fun and make different choices because of it.
Yeah this has always been the weird part about him.
It’s like he feels that since he’s not really capable of bringing a strong position or ever really in an advanced state of being on offense, he has to create the illusion that he is by simply playing cheerleader or back-up/support to anyone who is actually attempting to engage honestly or otherwise.
Then he acts like he’s doing some great “service” for people by “letting people know who they’re dealing with”, lol, like he’s some kind of hero, just let people formulate their own opinions, maybe?
I love how the topic of dual spec is now such a storied meta-discussion that there can be actual inside jokes that only partakers of some level of participation will understand.
back to projecting I see. It’s not my fault you don’t want to play the game.
Suggestions are just that, suggestions. To act like it’s some force of coercion is rather amusing. The only one stopping you from having fun is yourself.
Do you just copy/paste this from somewhere? I suppose if you parrot this enough you might eventually believe it.
I haven’t forced you to do anything, I haven’t even claimed that you have to play the way i do. You don’t even know how i play.
I would love for you to attempt to describe my playstyle. you even have some free facts in one of my past comments.
I just paid $125 to transfer my characters to a more populated server so that I could play the game. You’re just totally clueless. Most of your arguments against dual spec amount to this is how I have fun playing the game without dual spec. You should play the same way I do and have fun just like me without it too.
I’ve never acted like it’s coercion. Another dumb thing to say.
I never claimed you did. It’s like you work at making one stupid claim after another.
Now see this right here is silly. You know the fallacy is there staring you in the face, but you’ll err on the side supported only by fallacy.
We don’t know why they haven’t implemented it yet, they could be working on it right now without a single shred of announcement. It isn’t like we got a head’s up on the HvH BGs, or the Season of Mastery, or the Bundled Transfers. If we get Dual Spec, it is going to be a lone blue post out of nowhere with maybe a throwaway line or two about how we asked for it and now we’re getting it, and that’ll be that.
They also could be doing nothing and hoping people stop bringing it up.
Either way, nothing is foreclosed.
Generally yes. Dual Spec itself isn’t a problem, they have to find something else that DS would touch or alter… or they just have to make a silly restaurant analogy that doesn’t even work.
Still the point is people shouldn’t have to plan out their play time like that That’s what I was getting at earlier you shouldn’t have to play the game like a job.
So you can’t actually answer the question. Or do you some perfectly rational explanation for why people would suddenly stop raiding with guilds if they had dual spec? Keeping in mind we have years of time with dual spec or less restrictive specs showing that’s not the case.
Of course, because they know #nochanges itself isn’t a reason that blizzard acknowledges in and of itself. But they’re unable to come up with any actual issues with adding dual spec.
So you get vague statements that basically just come down “It’s bad mkay” but then they can’t provide any details about why when pressed. Or resort to purely nonsensical reasons like trying to claim guilds would stop raiding if dual spec was added.
The “you don’t schedule things?!?” red herring is at least new as a thinly veiled insult, but it still gets boiled down to the same tripe rebuttal: anyone in favor of Dual Spec is lazy and lazy people aren’t deserving of this game or this game changing.
My money is on doing nothing and not caring if people bring it up.
That bet isn’t based purely on a whim, it’s based on how I interpreted their words, past actions, and my interpretation of TBCC’s purpose and identity.
Though you’re free to disagree with the confidence in the conclusion that I’ve reached, it doesn’t really change the fact that dual spec still isn’t in the game, and despite excessive begging, hasn’t been addressed.
At this point in the expansion, it’s just not seeming likely.
We’re barely into P2 out of five phases and like I said, we had zero heads up on things like HvH BGs, Season of Mastery, or Bundled Transfers. Blizzard really doesn’t give much heads up for anything until it gets announced, and half the time the announcement is for something happening next week.
Yeah, you’re perfectly free to go on thinking the entire scenario is a cosmic uncertainty and that dual spec could manifest out of nothing tomorrow with what little we know.
However, I’ve been convinced by the entirety of the circumstance otherwise.
I don’t think it was a mystery that something would be done about horde queues. I don’t think it was a mystery that Blizzard was thinking of SoM (their name for Classic+)…and transfers? Uh, OK, imo not really on the same frequency.
All of these were either foretold through Blizz surveys or the way the wind was clearly blowing.
Dual spec has no such story to tell in terms of it seeming like an obvious thing to be soon addressed.
I do not see a situation where in there are favorable (or even any) odds of dual spec being implemented.
In the end, one of us will be right, and surely you’ll say that it was a lucky guess if it ends up being me, but…you know. We’ll see.
