Nope. I told you you can find the poll you’re looking for right beside the poll Blizzard made asking players if they wanted WoW Classic.
Let me know if the latter exists because I’m pretty sure they were adamant about not implementing it all the while shutting down any discussions about it on their websites.
Very strange; whatever would give them the indication that enough players wanted WoW Classic that they eventually did it?
Even if this ridiculous logic were sensible, they aren’t comparable.
By erecting a classic server, retail wow players lose nothing. It’s just a matter of value proposition to Blizzard.
By adding dual spec to TBCC they ruin TBC for everyone who wants a dual spec-less TBC. The ramifications are completely different. They had nothing to lose by launching classic, because the demand was there and current wow players aren’t negatively effected.

I know my experience, and I have also been in the game from vanilla to legion, tried bfa to see if it was worth it, didn’t like it. I got into one naxx group with that guild because of people having RL issues. I was brought into the guild with the promise of being in one of their 3 naxx groups, I was only available for one of their naxx groups due to my RL schedule and got benched from it multiple times. But hay you know my life better than I do apparently.
Sorry, but they said they wouldn’t do it and shut down all discussion about it on their own website.
Then, eventually, they gave us Classic servers.
Why would they devote the time and resources to this project when clearly they were convinced nobody wanted it?

Once again, how is it with so many tanks begging you to dps for them because you’re such a great hunter and you having this incredible reputation on your server that you didn’t have many guilds trying to recruit you? How did you end up in a guild that treated you like crp when you had so many friends? Why didn’t you join a guild with your friends, with the tanks that were begging you to dps?
My guild just transferred to Mankirk. I decided to stay. Didn’t want to pay that much money. I’ve been recruited by 4 guilds already. In just 3 days.

They never shut down discussion on it, you’re just making things up.
They said the infamous “you think you do but you don’t” at a blizzcon once, but they didn’t actively ban discussion. In fact it was talked about so much the community themselves created the “wall of no” to copy paste to topics on the subject because it was so common.
These people don’t respond to teachable moments well and instead think themselves clever by trying to reverse the asking.
Teacher: “Class, can anyone tell me what is special about today.”
Normal students: “Oh today is (fill-in-blank-with-factoid)”
Obnoxious students: “PSH YOU DON’T KNOW TEACHER?!? HOW ARE YOU A TEACHER?! YOU’RE DUMB!!! YOU SHOULD ALREADY KNOW AND NOT RELY ON STUDENTS TO TELL YOU HAHAHAHA!!!”
