Get over it
Duel spec will happen we all know ir will.
As the moment wrath drops it will be there.
Itâs highly unlikely they wonât make wrath classic with it being one of the most wanted class versions plus how well classic and classic tbc have gone.
Itâs not likly to happen in tbc but that is not what your op claims.
We arenât talking about WotLK
*Edit; what I claimed? You assumed and put your own viewpoint into that. I merely stated dual spec isnât going to happen⌠is this the WotLK forums or the TBC forums? Itâs implied that Iâm talking about TBC, since itâs the topic of the zeitgeist atm, you assume from now until forever. Derp
Well not with that attitude itâs not, TC.
While it was not a TBC feature I do think it would be kinda nice to have along with things like group finder (not to be confused with LFG which needs to be purged in a cleansing fire), the modern AH infrastructure, being able to simply â/reloadâ when installing or updating add-ons instead of needing to fully relog, etc.
Yeah yeah, I know Iâll get flack from the internet tough guy #nochanges crowd. The whole âgo back to retailâ single minded responses and all that but some things should change.
The core game play? Nah, but some of the QoL changes would take whatâs already great and really enhance it more.
With that said, itâs not like Iâd stop playing if nothing changed. TBC was and still is my favorite WoW expansion of all time. Reliving it has really reminded me why I loved this game to begin with and why I continue to think TBC, for me, was WoWâs peak in terms of gameplay and design philosophy.
#somechanges
Sir,
I donât want dual spec. Iâm fine with the fee to respecc.
Dual Spec killed a bit of consequence for your choice. Iâm not sorry that people have grown accustomed and somewhat entitled to it, but is this or is this not suppose to be * ahem âClassicâ?
Iâm on and off player who doesnât care for retail. I was there originally for TBC. Myself and a whole lot of others are here specifically for this expansion to this *ahem âClassicâ version of a bygone era.
So no, my attitude fits and is on point for this asinine debate in these forums for changes that will come later in other expansions. Arguably, for better or worse.
For an mvp you sure donât know much about the game. Dual spec would drastically change the balance from a pvp perspective alone. Weâre not talking about some small QoL change. Youâre talking about every person with a non hybrid alternate raid spec running around as a pvp spec in open world. Imagine SL-SL warlocks everywhere, thatâs what youâre in favor of apparently.
Ultimately this would mean hybrids with 2 in demand raid specs would be screwed in open world, while players like warlocks would go around dunking on nearly everyone in pvp, because they only have 1 required raid spec.
give people an inch and theyâll try to take milesâŚ
Ah, so you want people who are easy to gank without getting the label because itâs not lowbies.
Dual spec was something people were asking for in the original TBC forums, too, even if they didnât have the actual Dual Spec in mind. So for those of you after the truest of TBC expansions, then yes, weâll still ask for it to be included in TBC.
Lol
Well as long as Blizzard doesnât listen
And,
That the forums continue to whine for it
Guess Iâm Gravy
Dual spec shouldnât happen in BC classic. Just wait till the next Classic series xpac.
Maybe you same 10 forum trolls should make a big âwall of noâ that explains why it will NEVER come to tbc. Since you all obviously work in high places at blizzard and control decisions made for the game, yeah? The wall of no should work just as well as it did before? Remember?
Oh look, the forum mvp is a vulpera⌠shocking.
I canât believe we have MVPs shilling for dual spec here. shameful. stick to your retail forums, greenie.
gotta get those blozzard policy points to keep mvp i hear
Really?
I think that group finder will be basically a dodge-ball line up where anyone actually assembling groups (i.e the same people who spam LFG) will now easily just select the classes they prefer. Mages, rogues (maybe hunters). for 5 mans. And most other DPS will have a difficult timeâŚ
Not that that doesnât benefit me, as a tank organizing groups, butâŚ
I also probably wonât use an LFG tool anyway, since I enjoy using /LookingForGroup
so much and the social aspects that come with it.
With regards to dual spec, my thoughts are thatâŚ
Personally, I think that QoL changes are precisely whatâs wrong with Retail.
So I guess Iâm that internet toughguy youâre ad-homineming about, in an attempt to shut down any disagreement with your own opinions.
The MVP is right.
When TBC-Vanilla wow came out it had 8 million active users. In the present TBC if you have 80k I would be surprised âŚ
You canât compare 8M vs 80k. If TBC-CLASSIC had 1/4 of it the original expanson had. Neither group finder, LFG, dual spec is necessary. Nothing because with 2 million players would be enough.
You as a game director need to make your project work with 80k-100k active players and for that big CHANGES are needed even if the players get angry. Your responsibility as the boss of this game is to keep it alive 2 years until Lich-King
There is a misunderstanding
Look at tools like group finder, LFG, level sync etc. They are just that tools to help the player with their experience when enjoying the title.
What changed are THE PLAYERS. The way it was played in 2000-2010 was totally different from how it was played in 2015-2020.
You have the evidence of what happened to classic-wow if you want to call me a âliarâ. The game was trashed, people spaming dungeons, yawning people with spellcleaves, people charging you GOLD for tank / heal. People reaching level 60 in less than 5 days. WoW-classic losing 80% of its playerbase in less than 90 days.
It is not the tools that change the game we players did it
If those changes include dual spec then #nochanges. Classic is a rpg. I wish it wasnât even in wotlk. You wonât hear a peep out if me in wotlk but we donât want it in tbc. Instant win buttons ruin WoW.
Speak for yourself. Iâd love to have dual spec.
I believe those tools are what caused the players to change over time. The tools removed the community aspect from the game.
