Gold making does not come easily to everyone. I’m level 36 and I have 70g right now, but i’ve had to spend time making gold instead of leveling to do that. I could probably farm up hundreds of gold while staying level 36 but it doesn’t mean it won’t take time. Most people would rather continue to level

Ah yes the true classic experience, paying 50g for dual spec, just as I remember in 2004.

This is not 2004 and I believe crafting and gathering were available in 2004. Go to Retail. 
Had a 50g re spec all Classic since ph2 through till Naxx.

that’s why i said it’s time consuming.
i would literally spend hours gathering.
it’s hard and it was acutally a proud feat but
i ditched the money to go to horde in tbc anyway since this was me on my druid in alliance lol.
but i like playing the ah, crafting and gathering
Yes players want things handed to them instead of earning anything. Retail is right up their alley.

You can’t say exactly what you did because you didn’t actually make that much gold legit.
You either bought it your lying about the mount. I don’t care what proff you have we can all see AH prices sub lvl 40 including all mats.

If you could read, he said he made it by Leatherworking. Are you so adamant people purchase gold through third party websites that you do not utilize the crafting in the game? Maybe Blizzard should remove Dual Spec if you are going to cry about it.
my advice to people is play a druid, go travel form and run around the shimmering flats skinning everything since nobody levels skinning but everyone does shimmering flats.
If you have leatherworking then bonus points, you can craft barbaric pants and shoulders to sell out of it.
Granted that won’t be instant 100g, but it’s good enough to get you there
I know how to do math and use the Auction House.
You’re welcome to think I bought gold but somehow was so clever that I have evaded a ban to this very day. That’d be more your speed anyway.

I have made zero effort to earn money beyond loot and quest rewards and I’m still hovering around 10 gold at level 30 after my training. It’s pretty easy to believe someone making active use of their professions would have around 100g by around that point

Yes but we have Tweedle Dee and Dumb here who pretend the money makers that are crafting do not exist.

ask yourself: “can I sell this item for 2x what it is currently listed for?”
if yes: buy item and re-list for 2x what you paid
