1g the first time
5g the second time (6)
10 g the third time (16)
15 g the fourth time (31)
20g the fifth time (51)
For anyone who respects less than 5 times per character this is a bigger cost to them. For anyone who respecs more than that, this saves them gold.
granted this doesn’t account for costs inccured by respecs done after unlocking dual spec.

Which may be once per spec for each phase or if they decide to go change what they OS which still may only be once more.
Still saves gold especially for those who plan to PvP or Tank/Heal.

you guys should be thankful the real blizzard team would do things like
example: Diablo 2… once you put stats in or skills… that was it… if you messed up you were re-rolling that character.
they later created a method to be able to reset skills but you had to gather things to be able to do it.
enjoy your time with pretend blizzard, they are good at make ease of access a reality.
ur right, there shouldnt be room for error or customization beyond the character screen. it is a mmo fantasy game after all.
Level 40 and practically free? Could have at least thrown those of us who see this as negative some kind of bone and make it non-trivial to obtain.

Your “bone” is your Level 60 Era server that doesn’t have Dual Spec.

Great, old decayed servers where the hyper-inflation problem this exacerbates is already well and truly set in.
Because these old players act like they never touched the auction house. How long have you played this game? 20 years and players still not know how to make gold. Players who have gold and will buy whatever price you post. If your can not find a way to make gold to purchase Dual Spec you can always go to Retail where it is free since you obviously want every thing handed to you. 
There’s no RMT in fresh. They banned GDKP.
