Dual spec not being in the game is the sole reason why i dont PVP .
100g to swap back and fourth is a lot when you refuse to buy gold / participate in GDKP which is just a legal funnel of illicit gold.
Average gold farming legally is what… 40-50g an hour?
So two hours of game play just to play a different spec of your class? Its ridiculous. At least lower to cost from 50g cap to 10g cap.

Are you illiterate or something? I’ve been repeatedly been on the side against duel spec the entire thread. I advocated for cheaper respecs and thats what I said doesn’t not radically alter the spirit of vanilla. Crazy how many people out there lack basic reading comprehension skills.

Some aspects of the original game were completely awful. As you said, for pvpers, it’s completely impractical to raid if you have to shell out 100g a week just to be in the right spec. Blizzard should be making it easier for players to experience the game’s depth. A 100g/week fee to do PvP and end game raids is not going to keep casual players subscribed.
Yep. unless you play 18 hours a day you either pvp or you pve. You cant do both.
or of course if you buy gold / cheat in GDKPs.

Yeah, while my respecs weren’t in era, in tbc i had to tank basically every raid but, was dps spec 100% of the time elsewhere. For months i was spending 200g a week at least on respecs. This burden is much easier in tbc but, trying to imagine it in vanilla is crazy.

SoD legit burned his brain… should sign up to donate it to science after dead… because it will be fascinating to see how a version of a game could legit break someone down emotionally so hard.
Someone clearly has never mained a healer. Especially in vanilla when your healing power has no damage scaling, having to respec just to farm is hell. People enjoy healing raids, it’s the cost and effort required outside of raids that is the biggest problem. Cheaper respecs, not even going all the way to dual spec would go a long way to having healers enjoy the game.

if farming is so difficult on your healer, you can roll an alt and farm with that
