Dual Spec is NOT a QOL Change

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

if you wanna pretend like you’re mark twain, go ahead. that can be your consolation prize, cuz you’re not gettin dual spec :expressionless:

Its so funny because this was the same attitude when we wanted Classic servers and Banned GDKPs. Look where we are now. It might take some time, but if this is all you got, your doomed.

It promotes preparation.

Sure, if you wanna put a positive spin on it. That kind of game is what I call a “toolbox RPG”

You may not realize this, but in vanilla wow you make virtually 0 gold maining PvP,

Still the case in retail lol. Blizzard has always wanted PvP spammers to go ‘touch grass’ (to be ironic).

but the sweats have already min-maxed everything there is to min-max in classic.

And they are poorer for it.

I am satisified with my money.

but when people get to min max and players like me get nothing at all for playing the game properly…that’s pretty lame.

How does it fundamentally change the game? Does it kill Ragnaros faster for you? Does it guarantee Bindings drop? Does it kill that pesky rogue that’s been sap camping you for the last 15 minutes for you? Does it farm your consumables and take you out to get your world buffs for you?

If the answer to any of those questions are no, then it does not fundamentally change the game.

  1. I don’t buy gold. Anyone who buys gold should be permanently banned from the game.

I will take your word on that.

But OP has yet to deny these accusations. Show yourself OP!

Yes, So you want people to be taxed for trying new things.

Well there are downsides.

Like I don’t want to tax a noob for simply making a mistake and accidently putting in the wrong talent. But the way the system works they would get taxed a little bit.

If you can think of a better system that lets people who genuinely want to try a new build do that, WITHOUT letting min maxers constantly swap than I’m all ears.

But I don’t think such a magical system exists, or will exist for a long time. A scaling gold tax is the best we’ve got.

thankfully the devs disagree with you :expressionless: not much more needs to be said

They don’t but keep thinking they do.

weird how dual spec isn’t in the classic era fresh realms but ok :expressionless:

Not yet.

They are open to changes they said.

You must have missed that part.

open to changes that do not change the fundamental feel of classic (not dual spec) :expressionless: hth

The devs don’t agree with anybody, that’s a lame argument and you know it. And its a complete deflect of the point I made, which inadvertently just proves my point even more. The developers don’t agree with the players on anything, they just say what they feel people wanna hear. How many times has Blizzard said they’ve heard us and they agreed with us, only to turn around and do the EXACT opposite? They’re constantly doing that.

To think that developers actually care about classic staying classic is a joke. They are the same people who put the WoW token into classic, remember? The only ones clinging onto those notion of #NoChanges are people like you who don’t even realize that the version of classic vanilla we have right now is NOT the same game we had 20 years ago. You’re coping.

Ok, I understand where you think min-maxers would love Dual-Spec. I just don’t think you fully appreciate how much dual-spec would help casuals and people who want to try new things more than helping Min-Maxers.

Seeing your responses, I truly do think you have the right mentality, just for some reason have been convinced that Dual-Spec would benefit Min-Maxers more than us other guys.

I truly hope you do realize this. Don’t be fooled by

These kind of people. They are in the wrong. They want gold to be high demand because they buy/sell gold.

Cheers mate.

Dual spec does not fundamentally change the feel of classic any more or less than chronoboon or the entire honor ranking system, which are both going to be in.

Keep coping. You don’t even raid you weird troll.

I don’t like chronoboon or the ranking system changes either. That doesn’t mean now we can add literally everything we want :expressionless: Why not add flying mounts BROOO?

DUDE FLYING MOUNTS ARE JUST A QUALITY OF LIFE CHANGE BROOOO

That demented troll has been around for a long time fighting against any change that good players want because he is trash at the game and barely plays.

He did the same thing on the SoD forums and he’s doing the same thing here.

It’s like arguing with a brick wall.

He has no actual intention of wanting a good game. He’s literally here to argue and troll over nothing, and report people.

I can’t even imagine what that dude looks like IRL. It’s probably horrifying.

Let’s face it. We ARE playing Classic+ right now. The version of vanilla we got is essentially Classic+, just not the way it was on private servers. You’re clinging onto delusions at this point.

dude we have to add flying mounts ok. quality of life change bro. it just makes getting from point A to point B easier and faster. what do you have against flying mounts??? THERE IS LITERALLY NO REASON NOT TO HAVE FLYING MOUNTS IN THE GAME IF YOU THINK OTHERWISE YOU ARE A GOLD BUYER :expressionless:

I just don’t think you fully appreciate how much dual-spec would help casuals and people who want to try new things more than helping Min-Maxers.

The cost of trying a new spec is very affordable with the current system. You are inventing imaginary problems.

Anybody who wants to try a new build can easily do that.

Like I said, it’s only expensive when it scales. The reason it scales is preciously so that players who are just innocently trying new builds aren’t overly taxed.
