Dual Spec is NOT a QOL Change

I just don’t understand. You don’t like parsing (based). You don’t like meta-slaves (based). but having dual-spec are against both of these things.

I am enjoying you realizing these people make no logical sense and they are full of hypocrisy.

Like if they would just admit they like a demand on gold then I would be happy with their arguments, because that is literally the only logical argument for it. However, the people who want a demand on gold…probably do something that is against ToS.

I wonder what that is?!?!

I’m sorry but your theory is just the complete opposite of reality.

Duel spec does not promote off-meta builds. It promotes min maxing. Always has, always will.

You know how I know this? Because the gold cost to respec scales the more you do it…so if somebody is literally just trying a new spec it costs significantly less than if somebody is constantly switching specs based off the content.

The system already accounts for this. That’s why it’s perfect system.

Huhhhh?

Do you think we are earning money off of you paying for a respec?

Which you admitted you are.

Dude, whaaaat are you talking about? How does that make any sense at all? If you have dual-spec you will simply have people having more flexibility with their spec. Without that flexibility then people will just sit in their meta spec when they might have tried something off-color.

Yes, there are people making real-life money with the respecs being so high. 100%

you can learn how to farm gold :expressionless: it’s not hard. many guides out there

Look, the vast majority of people who play Classic and will stick with Classic are people who played vanilla back in its hayday. Sure that’s not everyone but the bulk of the classic community are older people. If I only have 2 hours a night to dedicate to a raid, I don’t wanna spend 45 minutes of that sitting waiting for HoboJim to figure out his healing/tank spec and gather all of the necessary crap for it.

We all know you buy gold. You have already admitted to it.

I know how to make gold.

Having a high demand on gold only helps people who sell gold.

so that’s what this has devolved to? if you are against dual spec you must buy gold? lol :expressionless: i’m just thankful the classic devs know better than you. you’re not getting dual spec. it fundamentally changes the game.
i remember the constant, nonstop whining BEGGING for dual spec back in TBC classic. it didn’t work then. and it won’t work now. you lose.

You have simply already admitted to buying gold /shrug.

I remember the same exact arguments when we were arguing against GDKPs. Keep coping.

You can learn to not be awful at the game if you want.

No, we don’t work for whatever company you and OP are buying your gold from.

How does that make any sense at all?

Because trying out new builds is significantly cheaper (completely affordable).

It’s only when the player is constantly switching that the gold amount scales to absurd amounts.

Imagine if a game like Elden Ring let you maintain 2 specs. How do you think players would utilize that? I bet they would just load into Mohg, swap to their sorcerer build and one shot him with Comet Azure. And then for Fire Giant they will just switch to their dex bleed build.

No I didn’t :expressionless:

Banning GDKPs has nothing to do with dual spec. But keep coping :expressionless:

Don’t worry, when Blizzard adds dual spec I will make sure these kids never hear the end of it.

I got nothing but time baby.

when, like 5 years from now when they try classic+ again? lol :expressionless:

First off, Dual Spec does not promote min-maxing. It promotes preparation. And for people like me, it means I have my raiding spec and my PvP spec I can swap to on the fly without having to be even poorer than PvPers normally are. You may not realize this, but in vanilla wow you make virtually 0 gold maining PvP, so constantly respec’ing every time you wanna go from a dungeon/raid/farming spec to a PvP spec gets REAL expensive REAL fast.

Secondly, Dual Spec isn’t going to be the min-max Messiah. I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the sweats have already min-maxed everything there is to min-max in classic. Strummers and their followers have already optimized the fun out of the game, and they did it all without Dual Spec being an option.

No the vast majority of classic players aren’t playing the game 365 days a year.

Raid loggers are like 1% of the classic population.

  1. I don’t buy gold. Anyone who buys gold should be permanently banned from the game.
  2. I simply said that people are making real-life money off of it. Which you just admitted to.

Yes, So you want people to be taxed for trying new things. You are arguing FOR the meta my dude.
