in classic vanilla, people who stick to 1 build are playing the game correctly, and they deserve to be rewarded for that

Who are you to say if someone is playing the game correctly or not? It is not rewarding at all to players to have to stay in one spec.

Same exact attitude when we were being told there would never be classic realms, never have GDKP removed. Also, you think adding dual spec is that technically demanding? I’m sorry, but that is probably the worse argument of all -5/10

If a person is constantly changing their specs they should be disadvantaged (in terms of gold) to people who aren’t doing that.

Not true. People will roll alts all the time for many reasons. Also, what is the benefit of having every player wanting a hunter?

People may be more likely to roll on a pvp server, which are already more popular than pve servers, because they can just press a button and go from a perfect pvp spec to perfect pve spec

Well, PvP servers are just better anyways so. Who cares?

Nobody plays those anyways. People play their meta spec and if they don’t, they probably buy gold.

Heal specs are less likely to group with others if they can just swap specs whenever, for free. I can solo a lot of stuff on a paladin, if I can get into the proper build and gear. Why do I need your help?

What are you talking about? We will have more healers and more tanks because people will be able to swap to those kinds of specs instead of just staying in their DPS raid spec because they don’t want to pay 100g to swap back and forth to help a Strath Live fill.

Untrue, having no dual-spec makes the game more min-maxed. People have no incentive to try new things, help other players, ect.

It removes what is one of the few substantial gold sinks/ inflation reducers that remains after people have bought all their skills, professions, mount, etc.

Gold sinks are dumb. The only players who like gold sinks are those who benefit from RMT.
