Dual spec is great for the game! Thanks Blizzard!

wait what???

By all means show me where it’s hyperbolic to point out that a “Play your way game” isn’t in the same realm as WoW. There are thousands of play your way games and you can’t compare WoW and it’s class structure to be anything like that no matter the mental gymnastics you pull to try.

So then why are you expecting 2004 mindsets?

Why are you trying to shift the argument again? You made the stupid comparison, own it up.

I dated a girl once named Semantix.

She loved arguing.

What in God’s name are you on about? I wasn’t the one who originally stated the game was a “Play your way” game. I stated a “Play your way” game allows you to do crazy things like cast fireball as a druid or cast heal as a warrior.

Neither did I. I was arguing purely what gameplay effects it would have, and the fact debuff limit removal will have more impact than dual spec. You injected your dumb comparisons and attempts to reframe the conversation.

Say what you want about dual spec but I’ll be damned if I’m going to let this blasphemy slide.

Watch it!

Again, you make it sound like I’m against people having dual spec. I come in here and neutrally state after two separate statements are being discussed which were two different design philosophies that only one of them was in the actual spirit of the original team of devs. The other was a new generation of dev spitting on that legacy. I’m not against you having dual spec, just stating that while it does bring change like the debuff limit, the original dev team wanted the game to not have said limit to begin with.

It’s not spitting on the legacy.

What a weird way to look at it.

Dual Spec? Literally SPITTING on the game’s legacy!

Hyperbole? More at 11.

Maybe they would have. Maybe they wouldn’t have. At the time it wasn’t the design philosophy. You having to play the game pitch perfect is why it sounds great now. We didn’t demand everyone play flawless specs at all times in every stage of the content and we did it just fine.

The OG devs thought it was a good idea to not give Rogue loot in Scarlet Monestary.

That team is vastly different. It’s very hard to have a conversation with you on this topic realizing the amount of knowledge that you have.

What even is this tangent?

Because it was a themed dungeon. Which was common in the Roleplay aspect of an RPG.

Everyone I disagree with is a complete sweatlord who only wants dual spec for min/maxing purposes!

Never called you a sweat Lord. But do tell me how you having to have a perfect PvP spec to switch to a perfect PvE spec when we did content as one spec for plenty of years isn’t accurate.

i didnt do that content as 1 spec we used to have to spend 50g in order to switch to a pvp spec now we just have to spend 50g once
