No idea why youâd post a graph showing a significcant upward trend during WotLK expansion when Dual Spec was released and then make a claim that somehow there was a downward trend after Dual Spec.

I mean, Iâve responded to several of his topics heâs made on various subjects and he never replies to me in any significant way. This just tells me he makes the topics to give the appearance of engaging a topic but he doesnât really think about what other people say.
Itâs that post-grad deer-in-the-headlights kind of thing where oneâs head has been filled with a bunch of information without regard to what one must do with it once itâs all there.
Thereâs no need to put words in my mouth, nor make statements claiming I stated something different from what I did.
Dual spec is not TBC! If you want to DPS/heal or tank you roll another toon, thats the way it was done back then. Classic is classic because of the rough edges, things arenât always super easy, if you want that, go play on retail or a private server.

Wait, do you believe duel spec was a factor in the decline of wow and itâs sub loss?

I donât know.
I believe that that is a very complicated topic and there are many factors that play a role.
It could be that no matter what, that was just when WoW subs were going to plateau.
In any case, I donât know, but at the same time, there doesnât seem to be any clear indication that its effects were positive.

You are 100% right it would be a huge topic to delve into.
When I first asked the questing I didnât entirely think it through, thinking over it there are so many factors that caused the decline, I think importantly people got older and changed and letâs be honest wc3 link to story such as tbc/wotlk was huge.
Cata just didnât have that same feeling.

Other than that WoWâs pop did peak after dual spec was added.
And we can also point to certain catastrophy events unrelated to dual spec, like cata heroics and trying to kill flying.
Yes, that does seem to be the case, though there is a decrease in trajectory, and a plateau almost directly following, with a spike just before the launch of Cata, and then a pretty steady decline.
Absolutely. There are so many things that changed! It would be difficult, and I suspect very unlikely to be able to point at any single feature, event, change, internal or external to WoW, that directly caused a plateau and then decline in subs.
You reposting a graph that shows a clear upward trend during WotLK doesnât prove anything other than there was a clear upward trend during WotLK.
Sorry, but Iâve already demonstrated the correlation/causation fallacy in the same thread.
Youâre better off saying WoW Classic is responsible for people getting sick in 2020 simply because WoW Classic was being played at the same time people got sick.
