The crazy thing is we can already semi respec any time we want via Rune swapping. We can do it anywhere. I did Deadmines on my Druid who was Balance at the time and our Tank had to bail early so I just swapped to my Tank Runes and we finished the run.
So Dual spec would destroy the game even if it could only be used in a rest area but Rune swapping to change roles is fine?
I LOVE the FF14 job system and easy swap. Itâs amazing. I am not my character in game, there is no actual Roleplaying aspect for me. Its cool when you are a kids, but its weird for adults.
Also its a stronger character fantasy that all of the amazing powers we have would translate into doing more than one class. My warrior has done a LOT of magic over the years for supposedly not having mana.
Incorrect retail coper. No changes meant the entire community wanted class balance, new gear and new contest.
But everyone knew nu-blizzard would mess it up and the no changes crowd assumed once it got going we would be flooded with retail players demanding we speed run the death of wow again.
So nochanges waa adopted, not because everyoneâs a dinosaur but because retail players are tourists locusts.
Dual Spec is not a feature,
itâs a tool that facilitates players to play more of the game.
With holding it to drop it later as a feature of a season is a cop out.
Duel spec at least, I would much rather the retail version but please at least give us Duel Spec.
Not having duel spec just limits what you can do with your character.
The time time and effort it takes to respec eventually just turns people off from doing it, players soon get over the tediousness stop doing it and raid log.
The open world pvp is exciting and a fantastic part of classic wow
Why would you not want to encourage this by making it easier and more accessible to participate in to more of the player base?
The retail version of the spec tree atm is fantastic you can swap anywhere and there is no social pressure to play what you donât want to play.
If you are associating with players that bully you I suggest you find others to play with.
Majority of the player base will accept the role you are and will do nothing more than maybe ask you to swap for a particular fight and a simple no I really donât want to will suffice.
I also encourage to have a go at other specs it can be fun and rewarding but if you really donât want to then donât. Only bullies and undesirable people to play with wonât accept your decision.
there are so so many players out there that will be happy that your happy playing the role you signed up for.
or if it is in SOD I could also go there?
The fact that it exist in another xpac doesnât mean it cant work in others.
This is another poor argument against it or actually not one at all.
Also retail has many great things in it but there is something really special about classic wow and it is not that I have to go back and respec every time I want to do something different in the game.
Im sure you also love vanilla wow the way I do.
But I promise adding dual spec will not change the way it feels, it will only help the vitality of the game by keeping more people in the open world not less.
My guess is that your not about optimising your character for all situations and are happy raiding in a spec that also works for you in PvP and that is great all the power to you but many many others donât and letting them change from pve to pvp with more ease will not effect the way you like to play the game.
no it wont, at all, people like you are just fragile as hell, this is SoD not your classic. I remember 3.1 WOTLK when they added, the ones who complained about it went quiet not long after it was introduced. lol at everyone acting like this is a âretailâ thing, it was literally something added at the beginning of the peak of the games popularity
Stop trying to waste peopleâs time and gold who know how to play more than 1 spec or literally want to be able to heal/tank and have a dps options.
it cost 1000g in wotlk where there was a lot more gold, it should be 1-200g considering most players seem to be poor who arenât actively farming/AHing or straight up buying gold
