Dual spec at phase 2

Not really. You can do it in longer BG games too.

For premade v premade I can have completely different specs for offense defense scenarios

wait a minute.

Lying about an items usage.

Saying controversial stuff.

Saying you’ll never win this argument.

It’s not working. You won’t win and you know it. You are farmed. You can’t beat my examples. That’s just the way it is.

I don’t know why you’re so upset that I am going to abuse dual spec every chance I get. At least you still get dual spec right?

Are you saying shamans can’t tank level 60 dungeons? I literally tanked BRD/Strat etx.

There are videos of era shamans tanking kel thuzad

Where have you been?

Maybe if you find some poor soul away from their teammates. If not good luck being OOM while one of their buddies jumps you.

I just don’t think this is a valid argument against Dual spec. If Blizz felt it was an issue there’s plenty they could do like allowing spec changes only in a rested area and/or making the cast time much longer, etc.

In organized bg scenarios this will not happen

I also agree with you that rested areas for dual spec will work.

I will accept a dual spec in a rested area 100% on board with.

I do not want to do it randomly anywhere because I will abuse it to death to pwn noobs and make them mad

I came here to say this too. It’s time we DISCOVER tri spec. It’d make it so much easier for hybrid classes to fill those STILL so sought after healer and tank roles plus you could have a pvp spec on hand.

I think we should get 51 spec. 1 for every talent point available to us. These choices are just too hard for me and i NEED to be optimal or else im completely useless and no one will love me!!!

Again it’s easily prevented if Blizz thought it was an issue by only allowing spec swapping in a rest area which is how it was until DF in Retail.

Then you’d be stuck in your spec while in a BG, Dungeon or Raid.

no you won’t. you can offer up swapping to offspec for certain fights, like mages throwing on mass regen on Kelris, but that isn’t required or expected. this has never been a thing in any form of WoW where a raid leader forces you to have 2 different raid specs unless you were cutting edge mythic world first racer, and even then without dual spec they’d have multiple of the same class all max level all geared out but with different loadouts.

I just said I agree with that.

A rested area I don’t care about and that works.

I do not want to be able to abuse DS anywhere because I will farm noobs and grief with it because it’s funny

in wow classic I was a disc priest. I was able to both heal groups and solo content just fine :expressionless:

Earlier you said you had 64 magic dust on your toons. You don’t exactly seem like the type to preach “fair gameplay”

I think dual spec in any form is bad for the game. its just respecing with 0 penalty. youre gonna have DPS minded people having a tank spec but not actually wanting to play as a tank or know how to tank but they do it anyway because they are more likely to get a group. Who is winning in this scenario? No one

You arent playing how you like and the group gets a players that doesnt necessarily know or want to play that role.

Duh, everyone can as a Disc. Disc priest is one of the easiest things to level in Classic.

Depending on your game play, the role in your group could change a lot. I see your point, in a one player game sure, but in an mmo I believe the opposite.

Not trying to say your argument is wrong, but I wouldn’t like it. But your point is closer to vanilla than mine is, so there is that, and of course I played it like nobody’s business. lol

I love how everyone is explaining how useful a dual spec can be, then there’s a handful of guys who don’t want it simply because they FEEL like it goes against what they THINK classic WoW should be, even though SoD so far goes against everything they like about classic.

Mental gymnastics at it’s finest.

Magic dust is for WSG wargames vs our buddies, who are farming the exact same items as me.

I can also use them to own noobs and grief to make them mad.

You seem like you’re my exact target audience.

I will continue farming these until I have 200 then I will stop maybe do some more at 40.

I hope you’re not talking about me.

I’m all for dual spec for the exact reasons I’ve stated.

I also agreed that swapping specs in rested areas is bis. But I know deep down I can’t grief if they do that because that is fair and makes sense

ok? :expressionless: point is you don’t need to respec constantly to do solo content and groups

I’m mainly just standing middle ground.

In all honesty I don’t care if they add dual spec at all. I don’t think it’s a necessary addition.

But if they add it, I will have fun with it to grief retail players and own noobs. Lol

If they added it the most conservative way is rested areas only but even then I still don’t see DS being a necessity
