Drum fix? ReAlLy? O.o

So you’re a changes guy? Or a no changes guy? Swear it just depends on the issue…

If the expensive ones go raid-wide, you’d only need 4 LW in the raid to cover everyone, which is reasonable for Druids, Rogues, Shaman, and Hunters.

There are good and bad changes. This would be a bad change, if guilds still want players to be LW and use drums, making it more expensive hurts people who raid a lot.

That’s a good point, but it’s still frustrating. It depends on the materials and how prohibitive it is. I don’t want to level LW because I’d rather have BS (for BiS maces) and Engineering (for the helm) on my Shaman, but might have to go LW after all.

I mean I was already going LW for gear that’s LW only as a Tank so no biggie for me, but yeah Rogues/Shaman may be torn with BS being available too.

High on copium. 15 years says otherwise.

I mean in 15 years we have found thousands of things through datamining that went unexplained, broken, weird, and otherwise beyond the pale that didn’t even make it through the end of the beta phase, let alone Live.

The early alpha stuff for Wrath was just a sight to behold as people flipped out nonstop.

Buy my leather. Cheapest prices in town!

Its not Beta yet JUST WAIT!!!
Its fine it will be fix for the pre-patch
Its fine it will be fix by launch
Ok they didn’t fix it but they will for phase 2
Do not worry, they will fix it in phase 3
Surely it will be fix in Phase 4
It will DEFINITELY be fix for WOTLK Classic.

(Joke aside, I’ll be honest though, I do not want them to fix anything I want the drum to be like they were back in TBC.)

Let us be honest here…
That’s the only thing that gets Blizzard to listen.

It is not reasonable to force a player to pay for something that others don’t have to pay for; reasonable is to make the costs be the same for every player and having a Leatherworker have to pay for others dps=not reasonable only change in player cost should be for personal dps only

Well I assume the idea is that the guild bank will assist with drums in this case.

Thats it? Thats the change? Just making it more expensive??

Gross.

It’s also raid wide apparently, not party-wide. So you need fewer overall.

Essentially, this means you need fewer LWers.

Ah, the person I quoted said ‘still party wide’.

If its raid wide, thats…better?

Have you paid any attention to activision over the past 15 years?

I mean, yeah. It’s just datamined and an early build. I’d like Blizzard to state what their intentions are.

Yeah, let the min maxers suffer to be honest.

That’s why guild leaders and guild banks and cooperation exist.

I disagree completely. There should be things which improve the RAID. There should be classes, and specs, which bring synergy that can only be found in the RAID.

A myopic ‘personal performance is all that matters’ clown show is exactly where the path of the game goes wrong.

Our characters should only be at their highest potential in a properly constructed raid.

Drums should be part of that.

It’s not going to work the way you think it will. Prices will soar for materials, bots will farm the spawns, guilds like Grizzly will have horde and alliance groups to kill anyone who gets too close, and everyone else will use GDKP or China gold to pay for them on the AH.

Min-maxers aren’t going to suffer, it’ll just be a train wreck for anyone who needs the materials for anything they can be used for. Thinking it’ll just make life worse for min-maxers is short-sighted.
