[Patch 3.2.0] (04-Aug-2009): The level requirement for this skill has been increased to level 71. Flight Form and Swift Flight Form now benefit from a paladin’s Crusader Aura. Druids who have acquired a mount able to go 310% flight speed will now also go that speed while in this form.
Think about it when choosing a character to level for farming.

Mount is 1.5s cast time, so pally with crusader aura is superior farmer
As long as you’re able to run Naxx 10 / 25 man in the same week, you can simply get the glory of Raider 10.
i thought crusader aura didn’t stack past the 310% speed, like 310% was the actual cap.
Either way, druids with +10% trinket on flight form vs 20% crusader aura, druids are still likely better with the insta mount and able to pick while mounted.
If there is a mob close to a node that aggros while you are picking the herb, you can just fly up a little bit and reset the aggro. By the time the mob resets back to where they were, you are already halfway through the herb timer and on your way before he re-aggros.
310% flyer will go at 492% speed with aura (max). Wasnt changed until cata

Was The Undying part of that? I know the dedicated few was. But I thought Undying was in the OG meta, then they removed it once Ulduar went live.
Nice, 310 mount on both my raiding toons.
The trinket breaks, once you hit 71 the trinket no longer works, same thing with riding crops.

492%? Wouldn’t it be 430%? Crusader aura doesnt increase it BY 20%, it increases it 20%. So 60% > 80%, 150% > 170%, 270% > 290%, 310% > 330%.
I know crusader doesn’t stack with the retribution talent.
Until cata its 20% mount speed, not +20%

That feels wrong, because you can race someone on a 270% mount and you arent going 344% speed. You just slowly overtake them, kinda like running through the raid with the 15% ret talent.
does GetUnitSpeed() work in TBCC? Feel like I need the server to tell me how fast my unit is going to get to the bottom of this
Theres an addon for it, think called movement speed or somethin
280% flyer will be 456% with aura
yeah, i mean its not often you get in a race with someone in the air lol. Could totally be wrong because air movement just feels slower (60% speed mount in the air feels slower than 40% travel form on the ground).

nah, i play on a carebear server (and from what I can tell, with the exception of a few servers, even PVP servers are basically carebear servers now).
I’m even more of a degenerate. I’m a raid logger with two, non-gathering profressions.
I just use a movement speed weakaura where running is 100%.
I’m really trying to figure out this math. Crusader aura increases it by 20%, but you’re increasing it by 63%.
