If we’re going to pay 5k gold to train the skill, but the form isn’t there, what’s the point.
The quest chain isn’t even IN the game.
Yet other people can use their epic flyers. Druids can’t use their swift flight form? How about a Tuesday hotfix, for both. Put them in the game so the class can get what they paid for.
Well the point is an instant cast flight form so you don’t have to channel to mount.
You pay 5k for the epic flight training NOT the flight form skill massive diff, you can go and buy the mount for 200g after just like everyone else. The epic flight skill costs 0 in fact it rewards you gold it jsut requires you like everyone else to pay for epic flight training. You are getting exactly what you payed for epic training and that is speaking as a druid. We get reg flight and training free so even with buying the mount we are still ahead by quite a good bit than other classes.
The epic flight form was never added at the start of tbc and is part of black temple patch. The idol reward also has powerlevel to match that its quite good. It would not match the org tbc game to have it this early esp not the idol it would be no different than they letting you buy black temple patch badge gear now, which obv wont happen as tosses out the gear progression.

Eh, ive never really been too bothered by the slow flight speed. It really doesn’t impact gameplay as flight is really only used to get to places where you cant take a flight path like the netherstorm dungeons.
I WILL NOT spend 5k gold just to fly fast. It’s a total waste of gold when you can simply take a flight path close to your destination and fly the remaining 200 feet.
The quest chain will probably be available in a later phase for epic flight form. It is what it is. Does it really matter?

I think swift flight form should be available early as its not gated behind any sort of future content and Ravenlord mount is cool. I mean, i dont really care either way, I just want anzu released early more than swift flight form.

Well you’re going to have to pay 5k for epic flying eventually if you want epic flight form.
You might as well buy it now and at least get to use a normal epic flying mount which is pretty cheap until they release epic flight form.
Guys, druids just got a fix to where people can actually play them again, now they want their class perk for flying? What is this, world of DRUIDcraft? Next thing they gonna want is the ability to tank raid content. Where does it end?
It is gated behind black temple. The quest rewards an idol that is part of the black temple gearing progression and powerlevel. As such it is gated behind the blacktemple tier and progression. As such it comes with black temple like it did in org tbc.
Just since it dosen’t require going somewhere dosen’t mean that content is not gating it just like the badge vendors don’t got black temple badge loot yet even no there “not gated” behind anything that needs black temple but non the less they are not there as they are gated by proper order in the gear progression. Druid epic flight quest is no different.

No to be exact you said you paid 5k gold for the skill which your op title references talknig about the epic flight form skill.
This is inaccurate you did NOT pay 5k for the epic flight form skill only training.
You also implied we cant use our fliers when other people can this is also 100% inaccurate druid are able to use the exact same fliers as everyone else as intended. You bought training for those same fliers you DID NOT buy training for the epic flight form as that dose not exist and was known to not exist not only from the tbc class beta but even the tbc beta in the first place as the form never existed at the start of tbc.
You further suggested we were not getting what we paid for when that is also completely untrue. We got EXACTLY what we paid for the abilty to ride epic flight mounts. The training NEVER was for epic flight form within classic tbc. The epic flight form is a bonus we get in later phases if we have the training the training is not gotten for the epic flight form thou and as such not having epic fight form is not us not getting what we paid for.
The epic flight form is NOT meant to be in the game early as tbc classic is made to be phases to match how tbc was back than. As such as we did NOT have druid epic flight form right of we should NOT have it now.
It is 100% correct that both the quest and form is not there as they are not part of this phase.
