Not really tank wise the other tanks have alot more things they can do, while druid still seems mostly what it was. As for cat druids we don’t talk about their rotation.

I enjoy playing my cat dps. The damage is nothing amazing, but i can flex a little bit in GDKPs. You wont ever see me playing bear though.
Once you start getting cat down you can bearweave and “flowershift” AKA gift of the wild for omen of clarity procs for more dps. Its one of the few classes you feel your dps increase as you get better at the class. Which to me feels good, despite being lower middle pack dps.
I enjoy feral tank. Plenty of tools at our disposal.
I despise feral DPS. Way over complicated when I could just boomkin instead.

Dungeons, things are dead before people can climb in threat. You should have zero threat issues in a raid group.
play a class that you think is fun, and for that reason only.

Feral is gimped. Should be doing way more DPS than it is for the difficulty of its rotation. I’m OG wrath feral was a top spec for most of the expansion.
AoE threat in raids is dogwater, paladins are so much better. As for bosses MD and tricks exist no reason threat should ever be a concern
Which is most of the problem with Bear. Shouldn’t need to rely on either, as other tank specs don’t and shouldn’t.
Without them, they’re in a world of crap.
Feral is okay. It was great for leveling in Northrend, but I think Resto is way more fun

Starfall is fun as a boomkin.
I have 2 feral druids. it’s all I play, and I love it. I’ve tried a bunch of other classes, no fun. And next phase we should hopefully have some pretty kickass DPS… but the basic rotation is rough. Bear weaving is even worse.
Feral is actually the Chad spec of WOTLK sadly due to the classic balance patch feral despite having the hardest rotation will never be top tier like it was in retail WOTLK
I have never seen feral cat druid in dungeons or Naxx 25. Feral in PVP I have seen plenty.
