There’s no harm in reporting them. If it turns out they’re just ordinary people giving themselves carpel tunel syndrome by clicking the same keys over and over again, they’ll be fine. More than likely, they’re bots and you’ll get a nice thank you - and you’ll make the game better for the rest of us - for about a minute or two…
If you’re unsure, then I don’t suggest reporting anyone, even druids that might be a bit suspicious. Because you’re right, they could simply be a druid that’s farming for feasts or skins.
Yes, it actually is against the ToS. Also, me trying to help you and clear something up for you, isn’t me trolling.
Oh, edit: As is spam.
Well, I understand you’re upset about all of this, but I hope this helped you out.
You received an automated message. That “snowflake” mod, didn’t give your post a second thought. They looked at it, saw that it was indeed inflammatory, and moved on to the other million things they have to do in a day. You might not like this, but this is what happened.
what does almost all of it mean to you? want to change the wording now like the coward you are. seriously I wouldnt be surprised if you were a ww2 germany supporter with your “my way to the gas chamber” logic
^^I have had the same experience in reporting and seen results fairly fast. Revendreth comes to mind, Chain of druids on follow. Report the head as it was the only one I could click fast enough. Did this repeatedly as the lead druid would, I guess, get a ban. Same chain kept coming back through until it was down to 2
i mean its like telling a trump fan that tump lost and they just continue on how he won. this is literally the same situation, and the nerve is he’s saying he’s the one trying to “teach” yikes.
To anyone that wants to report the bots, I suggest including as much information as possible. Include playername, server, location, coordinates, class, level, and a detailed list of their actions and why they are obviously a bot. Such as getting stuck in a mount/unmount loop, or any number of other things.
These guys were targeting the mobs so fast I couldn’t even run from area to area. I had to stand in one spot where they spawn and tag it as soon as I could start to see the mob fad in.
Then almost immediately they nuked the mob with sunfire, then the mob gets pulled into a blizzard of starfalls going off. It makes it really difficult though to get anything done with that many of them. On top of that they ran back and fourth across the grove so you had a ton of mobs chasing back and forth too. So that really makes it hard to even target them with so many mobs and other druids stacked on top of one another.
They are like cockroaches. enter a new small area and there are a dozen of them scurrying about. I just use the in game reporting and say something to the point of “look to be botting” and leave it at that. a few days latter i get a response from blizz saying “thanks for the report”.
Most of the bots are playing druids because Moonfire doesn’t require the target to be in front of you, Moonfire is an instant cast long range pull, and druids can easily heal themselves and their party. They also have more than 1 druid so one can be the tank and 1 or 2 others can do all the dps.
You end up with one spamming a moonfire and target macro standing on top of the other one who is in bear form spamming swipe. No class would be easier to make a bot for.
Hell, they could break half the bot farming just by requiring you face a moonfire target.
