Druid Bots? are becoming a real problem

I was leveling my mage today in Ardenweald and I got to the Heartwood Grove quest. So I ride the stag over to Heartwood Grove and what do you know, there has to be at least 10 or more druids running in a straight line back and forth across the grove blanketing the entire area in a constant non-stop Starfall.

Ya, trying to get my quest done is nearly impossible now with so many of them. This druid issue is getting as bad as the old gold farmer issues. Heck, I think these guys are gold farmers. There are so many of them though I don’t know If I even was able to report them all.

When are we going to see something being done about this Blizz? It’s affecting the gameplay of nearly your entire player base. I don’t think there is a single-player that hasn’t run into a group of druids doing this.

Edit: I suggest some of those lvl 61+ Elites that can one-shot them that drop zero loot to march around the zones, much like the Fel Reavers from Hellfire Peninsula. At worse players could pull them into these bot grps. At best they would agro the Elites with their own Starfall.

If you turn on warmode will they disappear since they will be on another shard? Or turn it off if you have it on.

Report them!!! I report these guys every day and recieve constant feedback from blizzard that my reports have caused a player to recieve action against them!

They can’t defend themselves, so I’m assuming they will never be seen in warmode.

Also, yes, this is a big issue.

Figured. Was trying to come up w/ a short term solution for the op to finish his quest.

Out of curiosity what are these druids farming?

They farm high spawn rate beasts. They do this for grey drops, gold drops, greens, BoE’s and crafting mats. They will also auto skin the beasts that they farm.

Everything that moves in Heartwood Grove. These guys always are in a high spawn area and they sit there for hours and hours.

bots…have been a problem forever.
druid…has nothing to do with it.
I just saw a pack of hunters farming the other day

They are very typically druids. So, you are correct, it doesn’t matter that they are Druids, but clarification kind of matters on these forums or in conversation, and especially when reporting them.

Come to think of it all the bots I’ve reported so far have been druids too.

No reasonable person would ever play a Shaman.

i’ve reported multiple multiboxers and received in-game confirmation that action has been taken

it won’t be immediate but right-click reporting for cheating is doing the trick, just stay the course

I mean… if blizzard is farming the materials themselves that’d create a need for more wow tokens

All I can say is Report, Report, Report. Eventually, they’ll get fixed, you’ll get a nice thank you mail from the GM’s and they’ll just create new ones the next day…

I think we need more of those boss level Elites that march around. At least then I could pull them into these groups. I tried to pull an elite in to kill them but there were so many healing each other constantly that it didn’t kill one of them.

That kind of told me they were bots though for sure, that guy the elite was hitting never deviated from his path.
