Equipped the Idol of the Heckler after obtaining it from thousand needles. After equipping it does not show the little buff icon in the top right and after attempting to add enlightenstacks multiple times by taunting 2+ enemies and killing them while the debuff is still active does not add any stacks.

also can confirm this happening, clipped it and killed 2 mobs after taunting 3 while the taunt debuff was active and got no credit or buff active

Same here. Died with 3 stacks and can’t seem to get anymore.

This is the worse thing in SOD… who thought it was a good idea to put this rune buildup on a 10m cooldown and if you bug you don’t know until you keep trying and then find out it is screwed up… idicocracy

Also confirmed not getting credit.
- Killing grey mobs: This wont work, they need to be green at the min.
- Attacking a mob to lower health then triggering the Challenging Roar on 2 mobs gives no credit. (I tried this multiple times).
This is really frustrating, the 10 min wait to test is not fun.

Can also confirm
- Attacking mobs and lowering their health then roar should work fine as I found a druid stuck at 5 and cannot complete the rune.
- Tested deleting the idol and then getting it again. Still cannot get the stacks.
In conclusion the idol is broken for getting stacks and for turn in. Dying before you can turn in will cause stack collection to break and for some who have 5 stacks cannot click the idol to turn in and get the Rune. Also un-equipping the rune will make you lose your stacks and possibly break collection.
The other druid I met stuck at 5 stacks also said you can only get 1 point towards the 5 stacks at a time. He tried multiple 3 mob pulls with less then 10% health, roared, and killed all 3 within the window and only got 1 point. So going by what he said it will take 50 minutes if you dont mess up to complete this. BUT you could also be bugged on turn in.
Yeah it’s so bad it actually made me cancel my sub. Game is 20 years old and they had all the time to test for bugs. Why am I paying 15$ a month for a 20 year old game that can’t even test for bugs. I wasted 7 hours of my life today trying to get this to work. I’m not wasting more time on a game that doesn’t work.

Tried for an hour on yellow mobs, killed in time of the challenging roar aggro, not getting any inspiration stacks
I thought this was bugged as well, but it isn’t.
I died with 3 stacks on me and couldn’t get more. All I did was unequipped the idol then reequipped it in Thousand needles.
I am currently level 34 and I am getting inspiration off of level 28 mobs near the Beastly Effigy.
Just get one mob low and don’t change targets. Its working for me.

That is wrong. I got 2 at a time. You have to kill both mobs before the roar wears off on them.
This is the worst rune quest ever. I have killed mobs that are green and even yellow to me and have still not credit for a single kill. I wait and use challenging roar whenever the mobs are almost dead so they die within my taunt window and nothing. I have even tried unequipping the idol and re-equipping it and still nothing. Not a single mark of inspiration yet. This is very frustrating. Having to wait another ten minutes to try again and still not get credit.

Thank you for testing this. I can also confirm this works. Insane how tedious this is…thought they would have learned from their mistakes in phase 1.
Still no resolution. Sooo… Just no berserk untill… indefinite at this point. No update from blizz… no nothing… Just the disrespect to the customer as always.
I was able to get all 5 stacks. Once i right click to finish the idol, it casted like normal. Gave me the announcement i unlocked the belt rune and i go to my runes and its still grayed out. Is anyone else having that issue?
Got the idol, equipped it. I left thousand needles, didn’t work.
I went back, didn’t work.
Unequipped it, then put it back on, didn’t work.
Relogged, didn’t work.
I realized the only thing that I always did was Demoralizing Shout. I tried without Demoralizing shout, worked like a charm.
Currently testing more for confirmation.

can confirm… u need to unequip the idol when u die and start over. ALSO the beserker rune itself is bugged it doesn NOT reduce the cost of sunfire in cat form. and im not really seeing a resorce reduction in mangle in cat form either so i dunno if they gonna fix this or not

Having the same problem. have done 5 cooldowns now (which idiot decided on a 10 min CD on taunt Lol… useless spell)
4 different areas. All greens, yellows or orange. first 4 on non elites, last one i went with a group into SM GY and tried on 5+ elites. ZERO tick.
Very bugged
idk, but maybe if this were reported in the classic report forum instead of retail, it would gain more traction.
