You’ll all be happy to know that over a week later they STILL haven’t fixed it. Thank you for such a quality game Blizzard. The 10 minutes it takes to even know if it will work is an especially nice touch. Hey at least this is a mandatory rune that I need for tanking on my druid, or it might be annoying.
Can confirm still Broken just tried 2 different times with mobs at 50% health got 1 down 0 buff ticks… 2nd time I had 3 mobs at 15% killed 1 still no tick…
Can confirm this worked. Not using Demo Roar fixed everything and I got stacks. I killed 2 within the Challenging Roar debuff and killed the 3rd mob after the debuff wore off, and was able to get all 3 stacks. (although I did unequip and requip the idol after my previous unsuccessful attempt before trying this).

I cant even get the idol. Been using challenging roar on the effigy and the mob wont spawn… i havent even gotten to the second broken part of acquiring this…
I just used it 4 times on the effigy and no spawn
